Currently working as Assistant In charge (Roll Shop) in NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), Nagarnar, (C.G.) INDIA in HOT STRIP MILL (Roll Shop) 3.0 MTPA From 18.08.2023 to till date. Produces HR Coils from 1mm thick to 16mm, and 910mm width to 1650mm in various grades. NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) is a (Govt. of India Enterprises) 3.0 MTPA capacity greenfield Integrated Steel Plant based on Hi-Smelt technology in Nagarnar.

• Operation and maintenance of cylindrical CNC grinding machine (HERKULES).
• Assembly and maintenance of 4 Row TRB, Thrust bearings & Bush Bearings etc.
• Responsible for RSMS activity.
• Internal Audit of 5s activity and improvement plan.
• Training and development plan of the manpower skill and the ability to involve, motivate and influence manpower and team.
• Good knowledge of establishing a system for bearing servicing and updating of overhauling documents.
• Ground rolls supply to the mill as per SOP.
• Work roll & Backup roll chocking de-chocking.
• Ultrasonic Testing of Work rolls & Back-Up Rolls
• Overhauling of all types of mill chocks making Servicing schedule of bearing.
• Preparation of all reports like Weekly reports, Monthly reports, Production reports, CAPA, Monthly audits, Sop etc.
• Involved in New roll inspection, roll planning and management in Roll shop and ensured profitability of operations and supervised all aspects of Roll shop management including roll planning and monitoring of bearing.
• Procurement process in SAP (Material management).
• Maintain all safety report like Monthly safety report, OHSAS, HIRA, Near Miss etc.

• Worked as Assistant Manager in Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Raigarh (C.G.) in Rail & Universal Beam Mill Dept. (Heavy Section and Rail Mill) Roll Shop-Operation From 14.01.2008 to 17.08.2023.
• Produces Heavy Sections Beams and Columns (HE900X300, HE800X300, HE700X300, UB 610X229, UC 356X406), Rails (UIC-60, IRS-52, CR-100, CR-80, CR-120), Channels (ISMC400, ISMC300, ISMC250), Angles and Sheet Pile.
• Worked as a Shift In-charge of following sections-
• I) Roll assembly shop.
• Ii) Guide assembly shop.
• Iii) Stand preparation area.
• Iv) Roll Turning Shop.
• I.S.O. document maintaining.
• Operation and maintenance of CNC Lathes & Conventional Lathe machines.
• Planning for machining/dressing of rolls of all stands as per rolling sequence.
• New section development & modification.
• Planning for assembly of rolls as per rolling sequence.
• Responsible for all stand complete assembly and placement in mill for rolling and removing all stand from mill and preparation for next rolling section.
• Spares planning.
• Stand changing, Roll changing, stripper & guide setting.
• Roll Inspection before the receiving & after the finish of Campaign rolling.
• Stripper setting with proper manner for good rolling.
• Proper Mill Setting according to the rolling section.
• Mill Checking as per Requirements.
