Project Title: Self-Powered breath analyzer cum e skin for potential health monitoring based on piezoelectric nanogenerator

Responsibilities

• Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials and Nanocomposites.
• Characterized using XRD, UV Visible spectroscopy, FESEM, FETEM, high- angle annular dark field elemental mapping, FTIR and XPS analysis
• Performance of breath sensing measurements of the as-synthesized materials.
• Evaluation of various sensing parameters viz. response time, recovery time, sensitivity and selectivity.
• Designed experiments using appropriate controls and variables, resulting in valid conclusions being drawn from collected data.
• Implemented quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of experimental results.
• Trained new employees on areas of technical expertise and compliance issues relevant to lab setting.
• Developed new chemical compounds with improved properties, meeting and exceeding project goals.

Project Title: Synthesis and characterization of conducting polymer/ nanostructured WO3 hybrid for low temperature NOx detection

Project Responsibilities :

• Synthesis and Characterization of the Oxide materials and Oxide/ Polymer nanocomposites.
• Characterization using obtained products with various techniques such as particle size analyzer, X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), UV-Visible spectroscopic analysis, FTIR, FESEM, and FETEM.
• Performance of gas sensing measurements of the as-synthesized materials.
• Evaluation of various sensing parameters viz. response time, recovery time, sensitivity and selectivity.
• Fabrication of proto-type electrical NOx sensor.
• Maintained accurate records of experiments and results, ensuring reliability and replicability in future studies.
• Contributed to the publication of research articles by drafting sections and revising content for clarity.
• Presented research findings at conferences, increasing visibility and collaboration opportunities for the lab.
