Job overview

  • Responsible for hotel pre-launch operations cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire hotels. Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard, vendor management, customer relationship, Training, Inventory, consumable cost, P&L expenses AOP budget for Hotel operations, Develops strategies and processes in areas such as performance metrics and measure, production schedule with respect to customer target and review daily, weekly and monthly production level/metrics new training manual development, & Maintenance of a hygienic environment
  • Responsible for the daily operation of 188 rooms and Public area of the hotel.
  • Direct coordination with Chief Engineer for ensuring smooth operation.
  • Reviewing policies and procedures from time to time to ensure that systems are ever evolving and suited to the needs of the guest.
  • Recruiting team members in line with the company guidelines.
  • Supervising staffing level to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Responding to and handling guest problems and complaints.
  • Ensure hotel policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are complete.
  • Review Customer Feedback System (NPS) and reviews process on the action plan to improve the same.
  • Ensuring training, evaluating, disciplining and motivating the team members on a regular basis.
  • Preparing yearly capital and operational budgets for guest supplies, cleaning supplies and printing & stationary and learn how they are approved and executed.
  • Participating in the monitoring of cost management as it pertains to inventories, issue of supplies.
  • Taking up all operational responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Working directly with outside contracted companies when on hotel premises.
  • Delivering and managing employee programs that aligns with business priorities
  • Employee wellness, organizational development and community engagement and execute local employee events and engagement programs
  • Closely working with co-partner and management team (Facilities, HR, IT, Finance, Front office, Housekeeping, FNB, Outsource agency ) to execute maximize employee engagement process
  • Managing the budgets and vendor relationships; build influential partnerships for site enablement.
