- Debit Card Settlement and Reconciliation
- Working as the Lead Analyst overseeing the migration of Debit Card Settlement and Reconciliation from a vendor platform to in-house developed Reconciliation Suite
- In my role as a Lead Analyst, I collaborated closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to implement horizontal scaling of the current infrastructure, ensuring its capability to manage extensive data volume
- Examined source data from the ATM/POS switch, core banking system, and various card schemes
- Following this analysis, I worked in coordination with the database team to implement changes in the database architecture, ensuring a seamless adaptation to the increased data volume without adversely affecting the application
- A new library was created to parse TLF/PTLF logs generated by the ATM switch
- The purpose was to transform the logs into structured data, suitable for loading into the database
- Additionally, the library was designed to parse Base24 tokens, extracting pertinent information from them
- New workflows were formulated and are presently undergoing testing to automate cash reconciliation for linked branch accounts associated with ATM terminals.
