Direction Finding Hardware Unit (DFHU)

DFHU is a system or device designed to determine the direction from which received signal it transmitted using phase difference between antennas.

Platform: Linux (PetaLinux, Yocto)

Hardware: Microblaze, Kintex FPGA

Languages Used: C, C++, TCL Scripting

Tools/Technologies: Peta Linux, Vitis, and QT

• Involved in Design, Development & Testing Phases of SDLC.
• Creating FSBL, Configuring and building U-Boot and Linux for Microblaze(Kintex FPGA) Using Petalinux.
• Initial board bring-up and Interfaces bringing up like UART, Ethernet, I2C, EEPROM, DDR & QSPI Flash.
• Development of linux based socket application and Multithread c application.
• Developed a GUI Application using QT Creator to send and receive the data through Ethernet.
• Developed a QT Libraries for hardware equipments like Signal generator, Spectrum Analyser and Network analyser for automation purpose.

Narrow band receiver processing unit (NBRPU)

Narrow band receiver processing unit is radar project typically refers to a specialized system designed to process narrowband signals received by radar.

Platform: Linux (Peta Linux, Yocto)

Hardware: MPSOC, Microblaze, Kintex FPGA, vertex FPGA

Languages Used: C, C++

Tools/Technologies: Peta Linux, Vitis, QT

• Successfully brought up interfaces such as UART, I2C, QSPI, EMMC, RIO, RS422, SATA, Sensors, DDR3, EEPROM & Ethernet.
• Designed a test interface multithread application in C programming and implemented software as per MISRA-C standard.
• Enabled interrupts between the MPSOC and Kintex FPGA.
• Developed a bare-metal application for Microblaze.
• Designed Front-end UI using QT Creator.
