A World Bank project of US$287 million is being implemented by the Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoHFW), Government of Tamil Nadu (GoTN), as part of the ‘Tamil Nadu Health System Reform Program’. The activities of the Program are organized around three outcomes, namely Improving Quality of Care, Improving Management of Non-Communicable Diseases and Injuries, and Closing Equity Gaps in Reproductive and Child Health Care.
Responsibilities
❖ Planning and preparation of Project Activities against the result framework indicators
❖ Coordination with the officials from other directorates for smooth Implementation of project activities
❖ In charge of all activities related to Independent Verification Agency & Develop Verification Protocol for all activities
❖ Coordinate with the directorates for Accreditation of Public Hospitals
❖ Coordinate with the directorates for Implementing Quality Improvement Intervention
❖ Coordinate with IIT for Implementation of Operational Research Program
❖ Analyze the existing data and make the project plan
❖ Research and collect data to assist with project development and analysis
❖ Timely submission of project reports.
