Short-Bio - A physician-turned innovator who invented the world’s first pedal operated newborn resuscitation system, and founded Windmill Health (a spin out of the Stanford India Biodesign program at AIIMS and Stanford University) to develop and commercialize the product, which has since secured a CE mark, patents in India, US and Germany, has won a national award from the Hon’ble President of India and helped babies breathe in more than 10 countries. - After the product was licensed to a commercial player, returned to Academia in 2019, as Fellowship Director, School of International Biodesign at AIIMS New Delhi - mentored multidisciplinary teams of Fellows as they invented medical devices and started up companies around the same.
