QNXT Upgrade denotes the product upgrade from older version to new version. HMSA (Hawaii Medical Service
Association) had 5.3 R2 as older version in production and is now upgraded to 5.9 R4. Though it’s a product upgrade, the actual project is all about upgrading the peripheral custom systems and applications that are working around the Core QNXT product. HMSA services business in three major Line of Businesses: Private Business (PB), Government Programs (QST) and Medicare Business (MCR). HMSA has two QNXT instances to support 3 LOBs. It has split up its core team has 8 Towers based on the functionality: Claims, Membership, Provider, EDI, Back Office, Consumer, DB Transformation, Infrastructure and Admin. Each tower has their own set of applications that they own and maintain. Most of these applications were written using old version of technologies. Few technical upgrade were also part of the QNXT 5.9 R4 Upgrade.nt

* Gather Schema difference between QNXT versions.
* Perform Impact Analysis on Applications & Process.
* Implement Code Changes on Impacted objects.
* Perform Configuration changes for QNXT higher version.
* Capture Unit Test results .

Efficient, in implementing Sub-Queries and Joins for complex queries using multiple tables, using Exception handling.

• Around 2.2 years of experience in MSBI with strong Exposure in MS SQL SERVER , SSIS.
  Creating packages for implementing ETL by using various control flow items like For Each Loop, For Loop, Execute SQL and Data Flow Transformations like Conditional Split, Multicast, Derived Column, Lookup, Sort, Union all etc. in SSIS
• .Proficient in SQL Server (DDL and DML) in constructing Tables, Normalization/ DE Normalization techniques on database Tables.
