  • Also, I have experience handling a low-speed subsonic wind tunnel and an axial wind blower for my experiments. I was involved in projects like creating roughness over an airfoil model by fabricating various turbulence-creating grids along the test section of the wind tunnel. I have sufficient knowledge to build an experimental setup and conduct experiments to investigate the effect of turbulence on rough surfaces.

Previously, I have done research work in the various areas of fluid mechanics and have done various experimental and computational projects like

· Performance evaluation and flow visualization studies in an annular gas turbine combustor using water tunnel test facility in DRDO, Gas Turbine Research Establishment, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, from Dec-2010 to Jan-2011.

· Experimental analysis of liquid jet in subsonic cross flow using MATLAB Image Processing Technique and steady and unsteady computational analysis of gaseous jet in cross flow using ANSYS Fluent in CSIR, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, from Aug-2014 to May 2015.

· Having adequate knowledge in Lean blowout limits and combustion instability. Also, I have an experience in computational analysis on can combustor to analyze the effect of equivalence ratio on fluid flow and flame propagation in can-combustor

· Furthermore, I am well-versed in the computational analysis of fluid jet interaction in subsonic cross flow using ANSYS Fluent, and I was awarded and secured Second Place in the State level Aeronautical Engineering Project Competition-2018 organized by the Aeronautical Society of India, Chennai Branch for the novel method of numerical analysis of multi-orifice injector with centre air core.

· Having hands-on experience with modern instruments and equipment like pressure transducers, the Malvern Spray Analyzer, the National Instruments 64-Channel Scani Valve Pressure Scanner, a rotational rheometer, a digital bomb calorimeter, and a subsonic and supersonic wind tunnel test facility.

· Having adequate knowledge to design and develop various flow visualization techniques such as smoke visualization, water flow visualization and the Mie Scattering technique & Laser Sheet Imaging technique for subsonic flow studies. Shadowgraph and schlieren flow visualization techniques for supersonic flow studies.
