  • · Worked on several projects for migration for the company.
  • · One of the projects include migrating customer specific data from the existing applications to a centralized application called Salesforce.
  • · As a part of the above project, I have devised ways to identify the customer data in the source systems, starting from their contact details, the contracts they are currently in, automatic alerts that currently go to the customer, etc., and ensure proper migration scope is prepared for them.
  • · Ensure that all the information belonging to the customer is properly checked once it reaches the target system, i.e., salesforce.
  • · Understand the working of several other processes in the organization that are part of the project to ascertain their controls on the customer data so that the same is applied in salesforce as well.
  • · Identify the customer information that need not be part of migration and make sure that is discarded in a proper way.
  • · One other migration project that I was part of is migrating the customer from one payroll product to a different product called staffology.
  • o This included understanding the source payroll product completely, and all its associates sub modules to make sure the negotiations with the customer are carried out smoothly by the sales team.
  • o Once the talks are finalized with the customer by the sales team, ensure that the migrated Staffology product is working fine in all respects and make sure the source product is canceled completely so that the customer is not double billed. This forms the most intricate part of the job.
  • · Achieved the complete migration of a one-year data within 9 months, against the targeted time of 12 months due to team coordination and proper distribution of work.
  • · I was one of the founding members of the migration project, so I got the opportunity to train and mentor several of the team members who joined later on.
