Floating inquiries to vendors for arranging offers of various Railway Signaling Equipment including but not limited to Electronic Interlocking cards and its ancillary items, High Availability Single Section Digial Axle Counters (HASSDAC), Multi Section Digital Axle Counters (MSDAC), Universal Fail Safe Block Interface (UFSBI), various types of earthing (conventional, maintenance free etc), Battery Chargers, Dataloggers, Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Earth Leakage Detector (ELD), DTMF & Magneto Telephones, Embedded PC’s, Lifting Barriers, Emergency Sliding Boom (ESB), Point Machines, Main Signals, various types of terminals and connectors, surge protection devices, various types of cables, pipes etc in accordance with contractual requirements for the purpose of quoting the tender.
Liaison with vendors post award of tender.
Responsible for preparation of comparative statements, negotiation with the vendors and subsequently arranging management approval for release of purchase/work orders to lowest and technically competent bidders.
Liaison with client for timely release of inspection call letters of various inspecting agencies for timely inspection of Railway Signaling Equipment.
Follow-ups with vendors for timely manufacturing of equipment and its delivery to jobsite to adhere to committed timelines.
Allocation of various execution related works to number of sub-contractors for timely execution.
Verification of Sub-Contractor’s claims for timely release of payments for smooth site function.
Preparation and maintenance of communication records.
Distribution Lines up to 35kV Line Network in Cambodia – 200 KM – Ongoing (Location of Posting – Cambodia & New Delhi).

Floating Inquiries to vendors for arranging offers for various equipment like AAC & AAAC 35mm2, Bare Conductors, Covered Conductors, 24 kV & 38 kV Insulators, 24 kV & 38kV Underground Cables, 24kV & 38kV Surge Arrestors, 23kV & 35kV Pole mounted Transformers upto 160 kVA, 24 kV & 38 kV Load Break Switches, 38 kV Auto Reclosers, Concrete Spun Poles upto 14m, various ancillary equipment like Cross Arms, clamps, splices, jointing & termination kits, ties etc.
In accordance with contractual requirements for purpose of quoting the tender.
Post award of the tender final negotiations with the vendors, arranging management approval and release of purchase orders to the lowest and technically competent bidders.
Followups with bidders for timely inspection and delivery of equipment to jobsite.
Co-ordination with client/consultant and sub-contractor for progress of work.
Book keeping of communication for entire project along with its tracking to minimize the delay in obtaining techno commercial approvals.

Timely issuance of various bank guarantees by liaising with internal accounts department and its verification and submission to client.
Co-ordination with client on time to time basis for securing approvals on possible reductions/enhancements in guarantee values so as to enable firm to use unfreezed limits as needed elsewhere.

Floating Inquiries to various vendors for arranging offers for various equipment like ASCR “Bittern” Conductor, Various types of Suspension, Angle & Tension Towers suiting to 230kV Line, Earthing (Pipe & Counterpoise type), Shield wire, Optical Fiber Ground Wire, Suspension & Tension 120kN insulators, ancillary items like joints, sleeves, dampers, spacers etc.
In accordance with contractual requirements for purpose of quoting the tender.
Post award of the tender final negotiations with the vendors, arranging management approval and assistance in release of purchase orders to the lowest and technically competent bidders.
Co-ordination with client and vendor for arrangement of various tests at vendor’s establishment.
Followups with bidders for timely inspection of equipment at vendor’s establishments and delivery of equipment to jobsite.
Co-ordination with Head Quarters for timely dispatch of cargo overseas, documentary formalities for its release at recipient country, arrangement of logistics in timely release of cargo from concerned port and its subsequent delivery to site.
Assist senior management in finalization of contracts for sub-contractors and vendors by participation in negotiation meetings and timely follow ups.
Regular site visits and meetings with contractors to review the work progress, identification of bottlenecks and its resolution.
Attend Progress Review Meetings with Client & Consultant.
Preparation of monthly claim in co-ordination with site officials & client, its submission and timely realization.
Preparation of progress reports and its submission to client.
Timely identification of contract variations to management, its analysis and follow ups with client/consultant for timely proposals and subsequent approvals to enhance the profitability of organization and smooth flow of project.
Stung Tasal Water Resources Development Project in Cambodia – Successfully Completed and Commissioned (Location of Posting – Cambodia).
Contract Size – USD 19 Millon.
Consultant – Water and Power Consultancy Services (WAPCOS ltd) India Ltd.
Client – Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (Cambodia).
Day to Day site visits and co-ordination between petty contractors/sub-contractors/client/consultant and Head Quarters.
Co-ordination with local vendors for timely delivery of required equipment at jobsite.
Co-ordination with Head Quarters for issuance of various communications to client/consultant and contractors and its record keeping.
Identification of bottlenecks and its elevation to concerned department for its timely resolution for smooth progress of work at site.
Timely submission of claims to client, its follow-ups and troubleshooting of issues while getting the payments released timely for smooth flow of works.
Co-ordination with Head Quarters for timely dispatch of material to site and subsequent co-ordination with local handling agent for timely release of cargo from port.
Assist superior officers for finalization of contracts with sub-contractors/suppliers by participating in the negotiation and contract finalization meetings.
