  • Responsible for complete establishment, development and operational management of Metal Injection Molding (MIM) plant activities from initial setup stage to commercial production.
  • Independently planned and executed complete MIM plant infrastructure setup including production flow layout, machine positioning, utility management and process flow optimization for smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Hands-on experience in installation planning and operational setup of MIM Moulding, Debinding and Sintering machines including utility requirements such as Nitrogen supply systems, water circulation systems, electrical load planning, stabilizer setup and machine commissioning activities.
  • Responsible for complete shop floor management and process control for Moulding, Debinding and Sintering operations along with maintaining process parameters to achieve stable production and consistent component quality.
  • Managing complete production activities including process monitoring, machine utilization, production planning, maintenance coordination, troubleshooting and manpower allocation for daily manufacturing operations.
  • Responsible for preparation and planning of complete MIM feedstock and raw material procurement activities as per production requirement and development schedule.
  • Monitoring moulding process dimensions, shrinkage calculations, component weight achievement and dimensional accuracy as per customer drawing and technical specifications.
  • Conducting process verification activities after Moulding, Debinding and Sintering operations to ensure product quality, dimensional control and process consistency.
  • Responsible for complete technical review and feasibility analysis of customer RFQs related to MIM and Investment Casting components.
  • Handling customer drawing review, DFMA suggestions, material selection support and manufacturability discussions with customers and internal teams.
  • Providing technical recommendations during tooling development stage including assembly considerations, draft requirements, gate location concepts, tooling assumptions and process optimization suggestions.
  • Responsible for coordination between Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchase and Technical departments to ensure smooth execution of new development and production projects.
  • Managing complete technical marketing activities for MIM business including RFQ handling, customer communication, technical discussions and project follow-up activities.
  • Experience in customer interaction and technical discussions related to MIM process capability, dimensional limitations, tolerance feasibility, material selection and secondary operation requirements.
  • Responsible for vendor development and technical coordination for secondary processes such as Heat Treatment, Surface Coating, Plating, Glass Bead Blasting, Grit Blasting, Machining, Surface Finishing, Gauge Manufacturing and Fixture Development.
  • Developed and managed external vendors for machining, tooling, heat treatment and surface finishing activities to support MIM and Investment Casting production requirements.
  • Experience in complete process planning and technical coordination for secondary machining operations and post-processing activities for customer components.
  • Responsible for gauge planning, fixture planning and inspection methodology discussions based on component geometry and customer requirements.
  • Coordinating with tooling vendors and internal teams for mould manufacturing, mould correction activities and tooling optimization for process improvement.
