Leading a team of 11 developers and architects on Delta Vacations modernization projects, enabling dynamic packaging and booking for Air + Hotel, Hotel-only, Air + Car, and Activities.

• Designed and implemented two core orchestration layers: Shop Orchestration Layer (for searching and pricing) integrating Travelport (air), Expedia, Dhisco, IBS (hotels), EHI (car rentals), and AWG (activities); and Booking Orchestration Layer managing booking lifecycle (confirm, hold, cancel, refund).
• Architected reactive APIs using Spring Boot and Quarkus and deployed Quarkus applications as native executables on AWS Lambda to achieve fast cold starts, low memory consumption, and cost optimization.
• Implemented API Gateway with public and private endpoints to secure integrations and built centralized authorization mechanisms for all APIs.
• Developed rate rule engines to dynamically calculate and apply pricing adjustments.
• Implemented event-driven workflows with SQS and DynamoDB Streams for booking state management.
• Led infrastructure automation and environment provisioning with AWS CDK.
