Project: Smart Home Exhaust System for Gas Leak Prevention
Developed a functional prototype of an automated smart exhaust system designed to prevent potential hazards and explosions caused by LPG gas leaks in residential settings. The system continuously monitors LPG concentration using a gas sensor and automatically activates the exhaust fan when the PPM (parts per million) level crosses a predefined safety threshold.

Key Features & Technologies:

  • Automation Platform: Arduino Uno with IDE for programming and integration.
  • Gas Detection: Integrated LPG gas sensor for real-time monitoring.
  • Control System: Motor drivers for voltage management are used effectively to control the four small fans.
  • Safety Mechanism: Automatic fan activation upon reaching critical LPG levels, ensuring timely ventilation and risk mitigation.
