• Drive the medical vision and strategy for Chronic CLuster in alignment with overall corporate and commercial objectives.
• Lead therapy area prioritization, evidence generation plans, and scientific messaging to ensure a consistent, medically sound narrative across functions.
• Oversee clinical research initiatives, including early phase, phase III, Phase IV/post-marketing trials, and real-world evidence (RWE) projects.
• Lead innovation and build new product pipeline (differentiated, first to launch) across therapies
• Collaborate with academic institutions and CROs to generate data relevant to the Indian population and regulatory needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier KOLs across specialties.
• Facilitate high-impact scientific exchanges, advisory boards, and symposia to reinforce the company’s credibility and thought leadership in therapeutic areas.
• Provide medical insights for brand planning, lifecycle management, and launch excellence of key products.
• Lead medical governance ensuring all activities meet DCGI, ICH-GCP, UCPMP and company SOPs.

• Leading a dynamic team of Regional Medical Advisors in super specialty TAs.
• Differentiated KOL Advocacy and knowledge dissemination: Driving FGDs, Digital Masterclass, ISPs, Advisory Boards, KOL MCE during pandemic.
• Strategic support to medico-marketing by robust insight mining thereby contributing to brand planning process.
• KOL Profiling for customized scientific engagement.
• Differentiated RMA led initiatives for institutional engagement.
• RWE generation support.
• New product ideation and launch support: Sharing new product and life cycle management ideas basis desk research and KOL interactions.
• Collaboration with various external and internal stakeholders and support to BU led initiatives.
• Support for clinical studies, pharmacovigilance as needed.
• Integral part of roll out of Patient Support Programs.

• Strategic contribution: Develop & execute the Brand Medical Strategy as defined in the Brand Plan. Understand the patient journey and identify unmet needs in Continuum of Care, Gathering TA scientific and market insights allowing anticipation of issues and opportunities.
• Impactful KOL advocacy: Spearheaded KOL profiling and Differentiated knowledge dissemination programs, led MCE across the country.
• Pill+ Service: Medically ideated and supported pill+ service programs, as a value proposition to HCPs for patient care.
• Patient Support Programs (PSPs): Integral part of many PSPs including 'GutFit', a first of its kind PSP in GI space, went on to win Abbott President Award.
• New product ideation and LCM of legacy brands: Integral medical part of NPI team for identifying and evaluating new products as per unmet needs in TA, Partner with I&D/NPI/Regulatory for product development and approval process, Contributed to SEC meeting presentations to DCGI.
• Data generation: Drive the global and local research projects, Driving clinical studies (protocol development, Case report form, statistical analysis plan, clinical study report and manuscript development/review), Collaboration with Societies for development of Clinical guidelines, Consensus statements, White Paper in various key TAs.
• Strengthening sales capabilities: Provide support and training to the sales force and other departments as necessary.
• Work in a cross-functional, national and international team to maximize the value of the company's portfolio in country and at regional level.
