PROJECT: Equipment Finance - Originations

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Equipment Finance is a part of Wells Fargo Commercial Lending Banking Technology, it offers financing options for the customers - Leasing, loans and spread across industries.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• There are 18 applications in Equipment finance - Originations system which used Touchless loan approval system to receive credit applications,assess risk and book valuable business.
• As a loan provider, we make sure the customers go through the onboarding and verification process before a deal is booked.
• Responsible for setting up the dealers and manufacturer platforms.
• Ensure the application healthchecks are good before the business hours.
• Need to ensure the deal is booked properly and it gets signed till funding, applications used are InfoLease, Customer master, Deal approval, Decision gate services, Business Process Flows, Esign, Quote Calc, Leasing source, Supertrump, Document generation and Siebel Apps.
• Worked on the deal process flow and made to ensure the deal is funded properly.
• Handled user requests related to booking issues, funding issues,customer data issues, KYC issues, etc.
• Created Knowledge based articles for recurring application healthcheck alerts.
• Worked on Tech refresh, Business recovery planning and application enhancement releases.
• Automated all the steps in Business recovery planning using Application Management Automation tool which was helpful in single click deployment and saved more time.
• Worked in creating alerts from tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Geneos and Grafana.

PROJECT 1: Commodities Application Development Team

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Commodities development team which is a centralized repository of commodity trades that stores snapshots of financial lifecycle of trade data from multiple trading systems and performs centralized reporting platform for the middle office functions and to various corporate systems

• Commodities is a project that supports electronic trading exchanges and Over the Counter (OTC) markets, it includes agricultural products, energy, and metals and are traded in bulk on a commodity exchange or spot market
• This project describes a complete trading system on commodities on how the trade is booked and its transmission till trade execution and settlement

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for end-to-end handling of regulatory reporting like MIFID and CFTC reporting for Commodities
• Worked in the regression testing and building unit test cases for all the deployment
• Actively contributing in all the BAU work and have good understanding of trade flow in the system
• Responsible for monitoring position limits reporting for the Intraday deals and report any threshold breach
• Contributing in Data Quality reports for the downstream feed systems
• Responsible in handling trade failures and fixing it
• Have good understanding of Agile methodology

PROJECT 2: L2 Support for Commodities and Risk & PnL Applications

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the trade booking is good or not via TradeRouter application
• Monitoring the Commodities environment using tools like ITRS Geneos, and Autosys
• Interactions with clients/vendors on issues relating to trade booking, settlement and trade positions, etc
• Handling tasks related to trading orders rejects, Autosys job failures, market data issues, etc
• Worked on PROD and UAT deployments like adding a new source type, increasing virtual memory for a job, etc
• Worked in finding out the root cause of trade failures and advise the clients on resolution
• Created Knowledge base articles for regular alerts which made easier to new resources for understanding the concept of the project
• User small python scripts to find the status of the trades, availability of market data, trade fixing and publication issues, etc

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Electronic Execution Operation Centre (EXOC) is a project that supports electronic trading platform where the clients can place trading orders electronically

• FCC(Fix Client Connectivity) is an essential system for equities trading at Deutsche Bank
• This system provides infrastructure for transfer of trade orders and execution reports between internal and external clients and Deutsche Bank's business units via FIX(Financial Information eXchange) protocol for sending and receiving data electronically

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The roles and responsibilities includes the following:
• Ensure the connectivity and stability of DB infrastructure for equity trading between clients across the world - mainly divided among NY/LN/Asia regions
• Monitoring the FCC application environment using tools like ITRS Geneos, and Komodo
• Interactions with clients/vendors relating FIX session down issues
• Handling tasks related to trading orders rejects, execution reports,etc
• Work on PROD and UAT deployments like configuring the appia engines, writing new codes for routing trades and modification of existing codes as per customer requirements
• Worked in finding out the root cause of false session down alerts which reduces manual effort
• Created Knowledge base articles for regular alerts which made easier to new resources for understanding the concept of the project
• Worked in raising Changes as per customer requirements.
