• Import/Export Operations Management:
• Oversee end-to-end import and export processes, including shipment planning, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor shipment movement, minimizing delays and penalties.
• Stay updated on changes in international trade laws and customs regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all import/export documentation (LCs, Bills of Lading, Invoices, etc.).
• Logistics Management:
• Plan and execute domestic transportation and warehousing activities.
• Optimize domestic logistics networks to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage relationships with domestic transporters and logistics providers.
• Optimize freight costs through strategic negotiations and cost-saving measures
• Excel in maintaining relationship with CHA’s, Custom officials, Shipping Lines, Airlines & Freight forwarders.
• Develop and manage the logistics budget, including freight costs, customs duties.
• Risk Management & Problem Resolution:
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with international and domestic logistics.
• Resolve shipment delays, lost cargo, customs disputes, and supplier non-performance.
• Develop and implement contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
• Foster strong relationships and collaborate effectively with sales, procurement, and finance teams.
