- Envision provides back office services for all supply chain activities.
- Working with overseas clients, develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize the supply chain, improve efficiency, and minimize costs.
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products to internal and external customers.
- I have followed up with bookings, documentation, ETA trucking, delivery order copy, customs broker, freight forwarder, container availability, delivery, tally sheet, POD copy, empty notification, empty return to terminal, demurrage, and detention invoice.
- Bookings: The booking sheet follows from the factory before the 21 days cargo ready date. Once received, the booking sheet will be sent for approval to the operations head.
- Once approval is confirmed, I will follow up with the forwarder on vessel options, ETD, ETA, free days, etc.
- Documents - Once sailing vessel, production owner forward to invoice and packing list. Production creates inbound shipments.
- ETA Tracking: I will update the ETA dates on the carrier website or the freight forwarder's active shipment report.
- Customs and deliver the order; I will follow up with the forwarder for the arrival notice before 7 days of the ETA. Once the arrival notice is received, I will follow up with the customs broker for customs filing 7 days before the ETA. Production owner shipping documents forward to the customs broker for clearing customs clearance.
- Deliver the order request to the customs broker 4 days before the ETA.
- Deliver the order once received, and we will forward it to our trucker. Trucker pickup appointment scheduled from the terminal. Pickup the container on time and deliver it from the warehouse.
- Line hold or freight hold—I will monitor the freight release (OBL/Telex copy) status, follow up with the forwarder, and the factory.
- Telex/OBL should follow 10 days before the ETA.
- Freight hold follow-up from the freight forwarder. Four days before informing the forwarder, the forwarder released the freight hold.
- Customs hold follow-up from the customs broker. Three days before, inform the customs broker. Custom broker release for the customs hold.
- Container availability from the terminal website.
- POE containers routing follow-up 10 days before ETA. Our customer site will be routed for all containers.
- I will follow up with the drayage company for the pickup date and pickup appointment.
- The drayage company will inform the warehouse of the container's arrival and request a delivery appointment. I will provide delivery information with the trucker.
- Tally sheet and POD - I will contact the warehouse to get proof of delivery. I will follow up with WHSE for the tally sheet and empty status.
- Empty return follow-up: I will monitor the empty status with the warehouse, inform the drayage company about empty availability, and follow up with the trucker until the empty container is returned.
- Our use of INCOTERMS, FOB, IMP, POE, and DDP.
- IMP-IMPORT- INCOTERMS- We will clear customs clearance, and our trucker will pick up the container to deliver it to our warehouse.
- POE - Port of Entry - We will clear the customs clearance, customer trucker will pick up the container, and deliver it to the customer’s warehouse.
- DDP - Deliver Duty Payment - Factory is all clearance activities. The factory trucker delivers to the warehouse. Factory truckers only request warehouse appointments. We will schedule from warehouse appointments.
