- Have comprehensive experience in sourcing and purchasing of passive components and electrical components like capacitors, inductors, frequency controllers, transformers, resistors, etc.
- As per customer's need, Identify and source new suppliers to obtain quotation (RFQ) for NPI parts and update system after getting necessary approvals.
- Reviewing quotations and proposals, including commercial terms (payment, delivery, and shipping), conducting value analysis, and negotiating to achieve purchasing goals.
- Maintaining Supplier Master Records, Updates and New Supplier Setup.
- After updating system, based on weekly MRP execution, we will be converting purchase requests (PR) into purchase orders (PO) and following up with suppliers to trace purchase order details.
- Performing demand planning regularly and checking with suppliers for product availability.
- We will work on material shortages with suppliers/vendors based on customer demand to reduce impact on production by sending reschedule PO signals (Pull IN/Push out).
- Coordinating with vendors for actual delivery status of material for on-time completion of open purchase order report.
- Worked on reports that added value namely-Share of business (SOB), Product change notification/ Product discontinue notification, Quarterly Global Pricing comparison, Lead time comparison report, One-time linkage, and Non-PSL report.
- To avoid discrepancies during time of order release, we will be validating existing system data with suppliers and performing system analysis to ensure data integrity periodically.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, acting as liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, and publishing regular reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for meeting all KPI defined within process.
- Has experience working with both customized and centralized teams with 100% OTD.
- Daily Reports: Vendor Backlogs, Data Integrity Report, Effective Management of PCN/EOL.
- Weekly Reports: Customer Review Report and Vendor Review Report (Shipment Plan vs Actuals).
- Monthly Reports: KOI Tracker to trace out load; Supplier Rating Report based on Pricing and Quality; Non-PSL Report and One-Time Linkage report.
