• Hence, this mixture cannot be separated by using simple distillation
• In this work, a systematic study of the separation of acetone water with the addition of entrainerby extractive distillation is performed
• Acetone-Water extractive binary column distillationsystem is simulated in ASPEN HYSYS Software
