System is highly scalable handling over 1.5B+ events per day with sub millisecond latencies. b) ESIM : Journey enables end to end online activation of eSIM, currently seeing 1000+ activations/per day, even in initial days. c) Built Common CMS framework on the app which helps product ops enable personalized content dynamically with NRT analytics feedback.
• Leading the online B2C acquisition stack and have been able to scale to all time high postpaid activations from online channels. Have scaled the centralized OLAP data store to handle over 3B+ events per day and over 600+TB of data, which is used to generate insights for channels ensuring better experience and targeting.
• Multi-fold improvement in app health metrics resulting in improved experience and lower app uninstalls.
• Launched common promotions platform - a low-latency highly scalable platform commonly used to drive campaigns and gratifications (rewards, discounts, cashback's) across Airtel.

Airtel Thanks App -

• Built new Thanks App Black Program construct on react native which has helped reduce development time by 50% and overall go live by 30%.
• Modularization : Restructured entire app to new mono-repo framework with common component based architecture enabling re-usability of common components across app.
• Built best in class app health metrics (crash free rate 99.9%, launch time, app build time, ANRs < 0.47%)
• Strong automation, testing & CI processes to ensure faster testing and go-live every 2 weeks. Have been able to achieve 80% reduction in bandwidth on sanity testing and 15% lower crash rate.

Airtel Payments Platform - Lead PCI DSS compliant payment stack - which processes more than 21M+ transactions month.

• Rebuilt existing monolithic platform to new scalable microservice platform (adoption across businesses in progress) which has led to 1.5% improvement in overall success rate.
• Smoothly migrated traffic from old to new stack.
• Create scalable payment-as-an-service platform which supports pure payment micro services.

Selfcare Platform - Pure microservice architecture to serve all digital platforms supported by highly scalable and measurable caching layer and nosql datastore (mongodb).

• Created backend microservices for digital selfcare layer - which are distributed, scalable and robust - handling peak load of 1.5 lakh users.
• Migrated account profiles with more than 11 million records to mongoDB which improved app homepage response time by 5% and reduced error rate by 3%.
• Migrated change order from oracle and scheduler (pull) model to mongodb and queue based consumption - which improved overall E2E response time by 79% and completions by 10% at selfcare platform.
• Removed weblogic and moved complete stack to open source spring boot based microservices reducing annual cost by 30%.
• Automated build pipeline with > 70% automation and unit test coverage for all microservices.

API Gateway and authentication - Conceptualized high scale and throughput inhouse API authentication and gateway layer for app and web platforms in digital channel - resulted in cost savings and improved uptime/response time.

Web development - Developed high performance low latency microsites in react leading to 20% overall conversion improvement (homepage, recharge & bill payment funnels) on mobile & desktop.

• Introduced Redis over Memcached - redesigned key/object data structure in redis for overall response time optimization and scale of new microservices.
