  • Company Overview: ACI Worldwide is a market leader in real time payments. One of their product is the CMM Issuer, issuing system. Issuer is an innovative payment card solution supporting national and international financial institutions and processors. It is an intelligent banking solution to manage and process standing and online transactions along with many other features that help in day-to-day banking needs.
  • Joined as a mainframe developer in the ACI Issuer Product team for developing solutions against requirements expressed by the customers along with regular product enhancement as part of quarterly release.
  • Then took up the responsibility of steady deployment of the whole code base in different Unix based regions (IBM AIX, Linux) and smoke testing to setup and verify the whole region. The do retrofits for customers post release.
  • Worked in bulk migration of 55 million+ cards from Legacy system to modern issuer.
  • Worked in various releases and multiple bi yearly scheme compliances for the product.
  • Worked with both IS8583 1987 and 1993 formats for Auth and transaction dispatching through Base24 classic and Base24eps payment switch applications.
  • Worked in multiple functional areas with Issuer and Base24 ranging such as fee calculation and processing, authorizations advices and financial transactions.
  • Multiple CSMs done for introducing new functionalities while cycling and daily batch processing of debit cards, credit cards and gift cards.
  • Worked on Embossing, Pin mailer generation, bulk issuance, etc.
  • Worked in daily batch performance improvements to reduce timing of multiple long running jobs.
  • Have mostly worked on Rehosted mainframe along with zOS, thus having an exposure to multiple DBs such as Oracle, postgres and MS-SQL along with DB2.
