Company Overview: LSAS Services Private Limited was incorporated on February 25, 2020, as a joint venture between Praxair India Pvt Ltd and Linde India Pvt Ltd after the merger of Praxair and Linde worldwide.

In the job role, I am Responsible for the mechanical reliability of 1300X2 TPD Oxygen plants and support PAN India plants during the breakdown of equipment and turnarounds. Following are the major job experiences, apart from the previous job roles.

• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns/faults and recommend preventive maintenance strategies.
• Create, review, and update the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis), and create tasks based on RCA recommendations.
• Maintain and execute maintenance tasks as per the Computerized Mechanical Maintenance System (CMMS) through EAM (Enterprise Asset Management)/SAP, and update maintenance records and equipment history for future reference and tracking.
• Team members to write, audit, and review SMP, SSMP, JSA, and risk analysis to update and implement recommendations.
• Periodic review of all critical spares to maintain the reliability and availability of the plants.
• Review the PDM maintenance reports, such as vibration, thermography, and oil analysis, and report if there are any abnormalities.
• Review engineering drawings of pipelines, new projects, and validate with the Praxair/Linde standards.
• Plan and execute the yearly turnarounds. Assess job scope, prepare cost estimate, and contribute to the reliability annual budget.

In the job role, I am responsible for the mechanical maintenance of 1300X2 TPD Oxygen plants. Following are the key skills and experience

• Plan and execute different maintenance activities, such as periodic and corrective mechanical maintenance activities, in ASUs (Air Separation Unit).
• Hands-on experience in turbomachinery installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance, along with standard maintenance procedures.
• Coordinating with operating staff for keeping the equipment in healthy condition.
• Participate in commissioning and overhauling of ASUs and hydrogen plants in India and Sri Lanka.
• Responsible for maintenance and overhauling of cryogenic pumps, water pumps (vertical and horizontal), blowers, heaters, turbines, compressors, oil pumps, etc.
• Alignment of rotary equipment by dial gauge method and laser alignment techniques.
• Maintenance and troubleshoot various process equipment like gate valve, globe valve, butterfly valve, pressure reducing valve, pressure vessels, and coolers.
• Design and develop productivity projects in the plant to decrease the operating cost, minimize losses, and bring additional revenue to the operations. The designs to be done as per the Praxair internal standards.
• Construction and maintenance of static equipment, such as cooling towers, pressure vessels, pipelines, vaporizers, and tanks.
• Contributed to manage the plant maintenance program based on RAGAGEP (Recommended and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices), with an emphasis on preventive and predictive maintenance, RCM, and CBM.

As a recent graduate, my main job and responsibilities were to assist mechanical maintenance managers in executing routine maintenance work and assist them in improving the work culture. Following are the key skills and responsibilities handled.

• Execute the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of plants as per the standard maintenance procedures.
• Overhauling defective equipment and replacing the faulty parts with new ones.
• Explain the engineering drawings to the contractors and execute the projects as per the drawings.
• Working collaboratively with design engineers, operating engineers, purchase, and other internal stakeholders. Assist the plant operators during the issues in the plants.
• Knowledgeable in various compressors (Centrifugal, reciprocating), pumps, seals, and their spares.
• Interpreted drawings, schematics, diagrams and blueprints effectively.
• Monitored the performance of equipment used in manufacturing processes.
• Drafted proposals outlining innovative ideas and solutions which could be implemented within the organization.
• Performed inspections of finished constructions.
• Developed comprehensive schematics facilitating engineering processes
