- Monitoring batch jobs and batch job groups related to my set of application such as MEDM, SCD, PACE, B-ONE and MQ application in all test environment such as Ts2(SIT), TS3(UAT),CL2 and QA1.
- Schedule/un-schedule batch jobs, kill the long running jobs, Cancel jobs, ad-hoc run of jobs/schedules, remove failed/Abend jobs from schedule to increase the memory space, Release the dependency of the jobs if required, monitor overall schedule status, add new jobs to the schedule if required.
- Performing Health checks of the application in daily basis such as Early global morning checks, Morning checks, BAU checks and evening checks. Raise Incident/Request within our team or external team if we find any issue in the application during checks.
- Proactive monitoring Ticket Tracking tool (Service now) if there is a new ticket assigned to our queue, it could be internal or external incident/request and pick up the ticket from the queue and resolve it depend upon the priority of the incident/request.
- Daily interaction with various stakeholders on business queries such as QA team, Delivery team, Release control team, Production team and DBA team and onshore team.
- Provide support for the QA team to make sure the stability of the application during REGEN to carry out the testing activities. During regen times we do various activities such as Pre-checks, User back up and restoration, application shutdown, DB refresh, application prestart up activities, application start up, code alignment (done by RCT), health of the application and then QA signoff.
- Attain weekly team meetings to provide the update on the Incident/Request, discuss various agenda such as ongoing issues, upcoming activities such as (Regen, patching, deployment, ad-hoc weekend support etc..), no off outstanding incident/request and discussion on them, progress on automation, action and AOB (any other business) etc.
- Always update the Applications support document on time.
- Deploy new jobs into test environment using Tidal and Uc4 automatic tool.
