#1.Title  : Intelligence Centers and Media sites

Description : This project consists of a large group of websites in production. These sites are known as Intelligence Center sites (or IC sites) and media sites. Each intelligence center site covers an insight into particular industry related data. These industries are typically construction, travel & tourism, insurance , wealth, packaging,ingredients,food services, beverages etc  thus addressing each client's specific business needs. These sites are accessible to users who are paid subscribers only.These sites are backend by internal CMS tools and Access Management System tool.

On the other hand, each mediasite doesn’t necessarily require subscription. There are more than 100 sites which are maintained in this group. These sites contain lot of data which was migrated from existing production sites. At a later stage, the data will be updated from internal Data Management System (DMS) tools. Data posted in DMS tools will be tagged to particular sites and particular industry level nodes only after which it is reflected on frontend sites.

As a Manager SQA, Associate QA Manager and Lead SQA, I have been involved in the following:

#2. Title : Sales order regeneration

Description : This project is all about regenerating Salesforce orders followed by updating order line item status and prospect lead SIC status. The system was designed with a trigger that creates an order when the lead gets set to ‘Booking Received’ then the lead gets locked. This functionality is based upon original requirement. Finance team have recently changed the procedures for order approval and have introduced a ‘Clean up required’ function. The finance team unlocks the lead so that the salesperson can change aspects of the lead including changing products. Adding new products to the lead doesn't currently retrigger the order record. It is currently upto the administrator to retrigger the order.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Salesforce administrator , I was involved in the following:

· Receive notifications from salesforce.com for orders regeneration.

· Regenerating the orders which are cleaned up (i.e which are set to Booking Received)

· Updating the status of all Order Line Items when the order has been set to Booking Approved.

· Updating the prospect lead SIC lookup field with a value stored in an another field.

· Uploading the updated status for all sales orders through Apex data loader tool.

While the three websites hollywoodlife.com, deadline.com and movieline.com provide breaking news,gossip news,movie reviews,award ceremonies of Hollywood’s film stars and celebrities,the website tvline.com provides latest news and reviews of hollywood’s television soaps and the website bgr.com (earlier known as boygeniusreport.com) is one of the top mobile & gadget sites in the world which provides breaking stories in the mobile gadgets across the globe. All these websites provide entertainment and news to the internet users which have been developed in wordpress (PHP ).

Both the older and newer versions of the portal were developed in dot net environment.

This project typically contains registration of a new user(client) who chooses to sign up from the portal www.mail.com. The user whoever fills in the registration form with valid details( as specified in the form) gets username and domain of his or her choice. For non-successful signups, the user will be prompted with proper error messages and alternative suggestions. During this registration path (named as ‘Regpath’) , many validations are required to complete the registration such as valid username and password, minimum age criteria, valid date of birth, verifying captcha etc. The user can choose either free email or premium email. The premium email registration requires valid credit card details to be charged for billing monthly or annually.

Description : This product was developed as a child tracking system to track each and every child by name (0-18yrs), map them to respective household, track their progress in school class wise, track number of children out of school and the ones never ever enrolled in school. The objective is to build the above database and then plant IT tools to monitor day to day progress for achieving Universal Elementary Education (UEE) in the state.This project would help to capitalize, as we know even in one of the most backward communities, there are innate strengths and resources of spirit and aspiration that can be tapped and enhanced. CTS product aims to overcome all of this hurdles in the State for it’s respective districts, villages and schools.

#8. Title  : Programme Management Information System (PMIS)

Duration : June 2008 – Sept 2008       (4 months )

Description : This product is developed to track the expenditure against the budgeted amount for all of the State government's SSA (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan – “Education for All”) related programmes and activities separately. The interventions proposed in this shall be adhered to the Programme norms and the activities will be clearly mentioned in the plans with unit costs, physical targets and the total outlay for each activity in the plan. This product would help in identifying the source of funds, fund flow, expenditure incurred, budget for the year, Anticipated progress etc from the State to it’s respective districts and villages and schools.

This product is based on various Lines of Business (LOB’s), including Broadband, PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), BT Vision etc. This is supported by an order provision on front-end applications (Oneview and Bt.com) with the involvement of many internal components and tested on different versions of environment. This end-to-end solution is used by the agents for the consumers who request for the above products.

Description   : This project specifies an end-to-end solution for the consumers who contact agents  for provision of new PSTN connections, cease an existing one, raise fault report, create billing account through three streams, namely Trouble to Repair, Lead to Cash and Billing aspects of the WLR3 product set. This solution will follow the directives of Ofcom by BT and will comply with the undertakings of the TSR(Telecom Strategic Review), in which a principal of Equivalence of Input (EOI) is followed.  Right from Customer’s Contact Creation/Search Customer, the process will be continued till the Order is closed on OneView. The order journey, with and end-to-end perspective, takes place with the involvement of various components inc., OpenReach, OFS, Vitria Hub, Protect, ASC etc.
