.Project Description:

The goal of this project was to design and implement a fully integrated Health Insurance Exchange and Integrated Eligibility System for the citizens of Kentucky State. This system enables users to apply, manage, and track various health and insurance plans, including:

The application was built using a multi-tier architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability, with seamless database integration and RESTful API communication.

• Involved in requirement gathering, analysis, design, and development phases of the project.
• Developed web form classes using Java, implementing a multi-tier architecture with database connectivity.
• Created user interface web pages using JSP, HTML, and CSS to provide an intuitive and user-friendly experience.
• Built and maintained component classes following the MVC (Model-View-Controller) design pattern.
• Developed the persistence layer using the Hibernate framework for ORM (Object Relational Mapping).
• Created batch jobs to process client notices and system notifications on a daily basis.
• Implemented server-side logic using Spring Controllers to manage RESTful requests.
• Participated in code reviews using SonarQube to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
• Provided support during SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing), including bug fixing and enhancement implementation.
