Project – Smith & Nephew, Inc.

• Day-to-day activities are related to the implementation of new sites, decommissioning, and LAN refresh, which includes, but is not limited to, site discovery, designing the LAN and wireless network, BoM, HLD, and LLD creation for the site.
• Design a new wireless network with the help of the Ekahau tool, and manage it through Cisco wireless controllers.
• Implementation of new hardware into Cisco DNAC and ISE for better management and authentication.
• Client and vendor meeting to understand their requirements, and other coordination.
• Coordination and implementation with other tracks, i.e., ISP, Security, Servers, Hosting.
• Hyper care for the newly built setup, which includes troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, cleanup, and asset management.
• Planning for implementation, along with onsite support and vendors, for new sites and existing sites with minimal risk/downtime.
• Documents and present upcoming changes to all stakeholders as per the Change Management process.
• Create and maintain other documents of existing and new sites related to new designs, heatmaps, reports, labels, and inventory.
• Handover existing and new sites to operations, and take a sign-off from other stakeholders.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure.

Project – Smith & Nephew Inc.

• Technical day-to-day activities include working on Incident Management, Request Management, Change Management, and Problem Management by following the ITIL guidelines mentioned under Smith & Nephew’s Process and Guidelines Repositories.
• Manage Cisco wireless controllers and handle wireless-related issues.
• Working in a data center environment on routing and switching, and providing support to HCL’s customer network infrastructure, including four data centers and more than 264 remote offices.
• Working closely with different Data Center Operation Teams, including Windows, UNIX, Security, Command Center, and other Delivery Teams, to ensure quick and timely resolution of the issue.
• Maintaining the HLD and LLD for all four data centers and more than 264 remote offices under the project.
• Devices include Cisco 4500 modular switches, Cisco 3850, 3750, Nexus, and Meraki switches.

• Upgrade switches IOS & configuration, backup using TFTP.
• Backups of network devices- Switches, Wireless controller, Firewall on a regular basis.
• Manage Cisco wireless controllers and Handle Wireless related issues.
• Create different Firewall policies in regards to internet utilization & as per user requirement.
• Configuration and Management a DNS server.
• Monitor alarms of the network using monitoring tools (PRTG and Nagios).
• Troubleshooting the Network issues and links, follow up and coordinate with service provider for finding the fault.
• Optimize LAN/WAN using performance reports and monitoring applications in 24x7 environments.
• Server configuration, Group Policy, Maintain and Configure DHCP Server.
• User administration setup and maintaining the account.
• Maintain the Wireless Client and Wireless Devices.

Project – Rockwell Automation Pvt Ltd

• Technical day-to-day activities include working on Incident Management, Request Management, Change Management, and Problem Management by following the ITIL guidelines mentioned under Rockwell’s Process and Guidelines Repositories.
• Working in a data center environment on routing and switching, and providing support to HCL’s customer network infrastructure, including four data centers and more than 300 remote offices.
• Working on Infoblox appliances and providing DHCP/DNS services to Rockwell Automation’s environment, including complex setups and various zones.
• Working closely with different Data Center Operation Teams, including Windows, UNIX, SCCM, Command Center, and other Delivery Teams, to ensure quick and timely resolution of the issue.
• Maintaining the HLD and LLD for all four data centers and more than 300 remote offices under the project.
• Devices include Cisco 3825 and Cisco 2811 series routers, Cisco 6500 modular switches, Cisco 3750 and Cisco 3650 series stacked switches, and Infoblox appliances for DHCP, DNS, and IPAM services.

• Technical validation of IPVPN corporate lines, including providing IP addresses, circuits, and device names, etc.
• Basic configuration on routers.

• Perform upgrades, configuration, and changes to client devices, such as switches, routers, and Cisco ASAs.
• Installation and configuration of routers, switches, link balancers, and firewalls.
• Implementation and management of Wi-Fi routers, and management of the wireless network.
• Manage static routing, VLANs.
• Maximizes U.S.-based clients’ network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Network monitoring and whitelisting the devices in monitoring tools like SolarWinds also find rogue devices.
• Supervises the functioning of network components, and makes sure that they are active and problem-free.

• Backups of network devices—routers, switches, and Fortigate—should be performed on a regular basis.
• Manage Nortel and Extreme wireless controllers, and handle wireless-related issues.
• Create different firewall policies regarding internet utilization and as per user requirements.
• Implementation of storage NAS drives and their management, such as creating users and giving them access permissions accordingly.
• Managing different servers, like DHCP, FTP, etc.
• Monitor alarms of the network using different monitoring tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow Analyzer, and WhatsUp Gold).
• Troubleshooting the network issues and links, follow up, and coordinate with the service provider to find the fault.
• Upgrade Cisco routers, IOS, and configuration backup using TFTP.
• Handling the entire network of Indiatimes.com data center.
• Optimize LAN/WAN using performance reports and monitoring applications in 24/7 environments.
• Server configuration, Group Policy, Maintain, and Configure DHCP Server.
• User administration (setting up and maintaining accounts) gives them restrictions and permissions accordingly.
• Maintain the wireless client and wireless devices.
• Maintaining LAN connectivity, Wi-Fi access point, printers, and barcode scanner, PDT.
• Antivirus, OS, software installation, and troubleshooting the related issues. Data transmission error and data backup.
• Providing support to the software team.
• Provide staff training for software and operation for devices like barcode scanners, PDT (portable data adapter), and Bluetooth printers, etc.
• Troubleshoot all network connectivity, PCs' hardware, software, and all peripherals.
