As a Compliance Associate (Legal) at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, representing BVG India Limited, I manage a comprehensive array of responsibilities focused on legal compliance and risk management. My role includes independent management of contract drafting, vetting, and negotiating contentious clauses to protect the Institute’s interests. I ensure that all policies and practices comply with legal standards and applicable laws.

I am actively involved in the Agreement Review Committee, where I contribute to evaluating and approving various agreements. Additionally, I handle Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) related filings in collaboration with Professors, ensuring proper management and protection of the Institute’s innovations and research.
My role also encompasses addressing disciplinary matters related to students, managing ICC complaints (PoSH), and drafting responses to student appeals, maintaining adherence to legal and Institutional guidelines in decision making process.

• Reviewing litigation and investigatory documents for more than 20 projects for relevance to case, identifying privileged information and special concepts such as trade secrets and confidentiality
• Performed quality assurance and quality control for huge volume of complex litigation documents with highest productivity and accuracy.
• Reviewing Incident response documents for patient privacy (HIPAA) and Personal Identifying information (PII)
• Managed complex litigation matters, coordinating with multiple parties to achieve favorable results.
• Conducting legal research, identifying and retrieving information necessary to support legal decision-making to assess impact of review guidelines on documents
