⦁ Consistently delivering towards production target by evaluating mortgage loan requests in order to approve or deny applications by analyzing employment profile, credit strength, property characteristics, and all other information pertinent to the mortgage application.
⦁ Reviewing financial documents ensuring all liabilities, income and assets are verified. Proficiency in automated underwriting systems (DU & LP) for Conventional loans.
⦁ Review, evaluate and synthesize data to ascertain loan viability and identify risk issues, potential fraud and early payment default.
⦁ Reviewing financial documents and analyzing layered risk in a particular mortgage which includes checking of agency and lender guidelines and performance risk (repayment ability).
⦁ Determine & document loan conditions and communicate requirements and/or decisions to clear loan conditions and expedite loan closing.
⦁ Contributing towards the training and development of Underwriting Analysts and based on the findings; update and improve the process to fill the gap.
⦁ Tracking the new updates and regulatory changes related to US Mortgage and assist in implementing the same into our process.
⦁ Also review and advise options for Non QM loans and broker out to other investors as per there guidelines.
