• One-design and technology harmonization projects and design rules creation
• Created several innovations like optimized clamping frame, optimized 400kV and 800kV lead exits, stray loss reduction inventions, optimized fan brackets, hot spot avoidance etc. implemented on several transformers saving around 0.5 million Euros
• Created Siemens global design rules for SC forces on leads and avoiding NCCs due to circulating currents in clamping structure.

Profile:- Mechanical Design of Power and Auto-Transformers ranging from 20 MVA to 500 MVA and voltage rating up to 1200kV.

• Created optimized, high-performance and reliable designs for > 80 power and auto-transformers including 1ph. 500MVA 765kV Auto, 1200kV test trafo, transformers for SC withstand test from 16 to 315MVA
• Stage Inspections of all active parts as a designated ‘High Voltage Expert’
• People-responsibility of 7 designers (includes training, performance evaluation, job planning and dates scheduling)

• Well versed with Plot Plan, Plant and Equipment layout, Schematics, SLDs, Tray Trench layouts etc. Handling the Unit Auxiliary 21MVA, Generator Step Up 192 MVA and 208 MVA and Station Auxiliary Transformers Package, Vendor Drawing Review
• Cable Schedule & Termination Plan, Cable Routing and Preparation of BOM

• Designing power transformer Leads using PRO/Engineer for Transformers ranging from 20 MVA to 315 MVA and voltage rating up to 400kV.
• Trained and developed two Connection Leads Designers.
• Well versed with 1ZBA design rules and Trafostar concepts (globally harmonized technology)

• Specialist in manufacturing of core, assembly of core and windings, complete active part assembly, VPD Processing, tanking and dismantling
• Well versed with special processes like Brazing, Crimping etc.
• Coordinating manufacturing operations with more than 100 technicians
• Hands on experience of manufacturing more than 70 power transformers ranging from 20 MVA to 315 MVA and voltage rating up to 400kV
• Coordinating all Operations of Transformer manufacturing, quality gates, best practice sharing within various sites. Material, time and resource management, managing information related to design, purchase, productivity, inspections etc.
