  • Topic: “A Study of Employee Machiavellianism and Its Individual and Organizational Consequences”
  • This study examines employee Machiavellianism and its impact on emotional exhaustion and organizational outcomes in the service sector. The findings indicate that Machiavellian tendencies significantly intensify emotional exhaustion through heightened perceptions of organizational politics. The study contributes to the dark personality literature by highlighting the psychological and ethical costs of politically charged work environments. Practical implications emphasize transparent HR practices and mental health–oriented interventions to mitigate adverse employee outcomes.
