- Appointed/ Expanded Agency-Distributors network in assigned territory Chennai and north Tamil Nadu for ensuring product availability and market development.
- Done major activities for sampling products and develop strategies to find new customers like Institutional visits / mall shows /conducted door to door campaigns etc.
- Attended to customer complaints internal and external on products and services availability.
- Planned and directed Sales canvassers and Merchandisers activities, conducted training programs to the sub-ordinate team members, and evaluated performance time to time and control of sales and service programs.
- Reviewed operational records and reports to project sales and profitability. Devised various Sales Promotion / Trade Incentive Schemes /Display contest etc. and prepared budgets for the same .
- Advised dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
- Visited agents and distributors to build rapport and motivated them in participating Trade incentive Schemes and expansion of products and services availability in the territory.
- Made proposals, follow ups and generated new business/subscriptions from Institutions.
- Directed back office staff on keeping records of Agents/Distributors' Billing details, Unsold Claims and settlement vouchers etc. from time to time.
- Directed, coordinated, and reviewed activities in retrieving MIS reports for evaluation of Sales Staff/Agents and product performance in assigned Territories.
- Represented company at Book Fairs / Trade Promotion meetings and various other occasions to promote products.
- Prepared and reported Plans, Budgeting and Review of Operations to the higher authorities on monthly basis.
