  • I came here in the year 2023 as a team leader. A team of five people came with me, in which four were in RM, and one was a dealer. My main job profile as a TL is as follows: Team Management and Development: This involves providing guidance, training, and support to my RMs and the dealer, to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Performance and Profitability: A core part of your role is to ensure the team's profitability. This means I ensure every person in my team has to be above 2X times his cost.
  • Driving Business Growth: I am directly involved in pushing the team to increase business in several key areas. This includes boosting account openings through RMs, and growing the Margin Trading Facility (MTF) book.
  • Expanding Third-Party Business: A significant focus of my role is to drive third-party business. You are responsible for motivating my team to actively promote and sell products like mutual funds (MFs), portfolio management services (PMS), alternative investment funds (AIFs), unlisted shares, and insurance products, including systematic investment plans (SIPs).
  • In Individual Responsibility: Apart from being a TL, I have to manage all my clients and their ongoing positions in the capital market, generate revenue in their accounts through trading, open new HNI accounts every month, build the MTF book, and sell all wealth products like PMS, AIF, insurance, and unlisted shares. I have been doing this for almost two years in this system.

  • Achieved opening of 60 accounts within first year as Relationship Manager at IIFL.
    Excelled in initial sales role, establishing strong client relationships and trust. Demonstrated effective sales strategies leading to rapid account growth. Then I started the journey of brokerage generation from here, in which I used to open the account and also generate the brokerage.
  • After this, in the year 2016, I was promoted from Deputy Manager to Manager. The work was the same, but the products had increased. Now, along with broking, I was also selling third-party products like insurance, mutual funds, and real estate, in which I earned a lot of incentives.
  • Then, in the year 2018, I got my second promotion at IIFL and was made a Senior Manager. The work was the same, but now the KRA of wealth products was higher. Now we had to give equal weight to third-party products along with broking. Where I bought mutual funds and PMS of a very good ticket size, and here again I gave six more years and said goodbye to IIFL in the year 2023.
