Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Asset Inventory Management:

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory, conduct regular audits and asset reconciliations, implement asset tracking systems or tools to monitor assets

2. Asset Procurement and Deployment:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess IT asset requirements and specifications, research and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate the procurement and acquisition of IT assets.

3. Asset Utilization and Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor and analyze the utilization and performance of IT assets, collaborate with teams to establish performance metrics and track asset performance, provide recommendations for improving asset utilization.

4. License Compliance and Software Asset Management:

• Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, tracking license allocations, usage, and renewal deadlines, implement software asset management processes to optimize software licensing, minimize costs, and reduce compliance risks, conduct regular software license audits to identify and address any non-compliance issues.

5. Asset Maintenance and Support:

• Coordinate maintenance activities, establish and manage relationships with vendors for maintenance and support contracts.

6. Asset Disposal and Decommissioning:

• Develop and implement processes for the secure and environmentally responsible disposal IT assets, ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, ensure proper data wiping or destruction procedures are followed.
