4. Cost Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with cost governance policies and best practices, including monitoring and enforcing tags, cost allocation and resource utilization.

5. Cost Optimization Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Engineering and Finance to develop and implement cost optimization initiatives like EC2 Rightsizing, ECS Optimization, CW Optimization, RDS / DB Optimization, S3 Optimization, Account & Application rationalization.

6. Cloud Cost Forecasting: Forecast AWS costs based on business growth, usage patterns and infrastructure changes. Provide accurate cost projections to support budgeting and financial planning.

7. Cost Awareness and Training: Educate and train team members on AWS cost management best practices, tools, and techniques to promote cost-conscious decision-making across the organization.

8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with AWS account managers and vendors to negotiate pricing, optimize contracts, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

9. Unit Economics: Based on the metrics for broadcasting platform. Per unit cost was calculated by considering the events, event hours, qualified users on monthly basis. Per Unit cost was reduced significantly once all the resources were baselined.
