I was part of VNXT Info Technologies Development Engineering Team which develop the apps/tools and do new releases/feature for one of our popular website having separate environments for DEV, INT & PROD. Our has wide range of tools in use which I look after and that is followed in DevOps culture. I was being hired to re-architect and migrate all the apps to a flexible cloud and ensure we are fully adapting DevOps culture, we ensured and consumed all the latest cutting-edge technology in use available in current DevOps model.

Project 1: -

Project name: - TEOCO

Role:- Cloud DevOps Engineer

Description:- TEOCO improves how communication service providers manage their networks – and their business. With offices across the U.S. and the world, TEOCO is a leading provider of analytics, assurance and optimization solutions to over 300 communication service providers – including mobile, fixed, and next generation networks and equipment manufacturers. TEOCO’s suite of software solutions reduces operational costs and improves network quality by delivering real-time, actionable insights into device, network, service and business performance

Responsibilities:

• Participated in continuous improvement by generating suggestions, engaging in problem-solving activities to support teamwork.
• Design & setup AWS Cloud with necessary components required to get started with cloud such as VPC, Subnets, security group, access lists, route tables, load balancers, computes EC2/Auto-scaling, block volumes, Storage gateway, ObjectStorage S3, EFS, Managed k8s EKS cluster, managed docker container orchestrator ECS in AWS, etc
• The entire provisioning of cloud component is done using terraform to ensure we automate the provisioning and be able to replicate the similar setup in POC, DEV, INT & PROD. I have been successfully able to provision any stack whenever needed using terraform such as Kubernetes cluster, EFK & elasticsearch cluster specific to apps
• Used Git [GitHub] as source code management tool
• Creation and working on branching, creating tags, viewing logs
• CICD tool Jenkins: creating new jobs, managing required plugins, configuring the jobs selecting required source code management tool, build trigger, build system and post build actions, scheduled automatic builds, notifying the build reports
• Writing playbooks and executing Ad-Hoc commands for orchestration of nodes i.e. package installations file management, automatic deployment and other automation tasks
• Working on CM tool Ansible on Master servers for configuration
• Integrate Jenkins with Kubernetes for our CI/CD pipeline jobs to have a scalable dynamic Jenkins
• Working heavily on docker & kubernetes
• Maintain the code base and all the necessary scripts, terraform scripts, on Git hub with respect to various branches strategy we follow and review the code, merge the code and approve for the same
• Troubleshooting any issues related to Linux, Windows, Cloud, Dockers, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes

DevOps:

• Knowledge in configuring and maintaining Jenkins to implement the CI/CD process
• Knowledge in managing the source code and maintaining the versions using SCM tools like GIT
• Knowledge on containerization tools like Docker and knowledge on containers orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Extensive working experience on configuration management tools like Ansible

Project name: - TECHION

Description : Techion is a full stack information company, integrating several modes of technology (hardware, software and data) to deliver solutions for complex disease problems.Techion’s patented platform incorporates innovations in sample preparation, imaging, cloud computing, analysis via artificial intelligence and machine learning decision support. The platform generates microscopic related data from any location, analyzing it in real time and instantly connecting information to relevant decision makers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Daily activities included, supporting teams with SCM requests, maintaining code stability using CI methodologies, deployments and troubleshooting other day-to-day issues. Involved in designing and deploying a multitude application utilizing almost all of the AWS stack (Including EC2, Route53, S3, RDS, SNS, Cloud Front, IAM, VPC.) focusing on high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling
• Involved in creating the company's DevOps strategy in a mix environment of Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) servers along with creating and implementing a cloud strategy based on Amazon Web Services
• Worked on Branching and Merging, Resolving Branching Strategy maintaining Branching strategy using GIT
• Installations of packages like Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Java and other supporting packages on servers and configurations of packages
• Manage Amazon EC2 Cloud Instances using Amazon Web Services (Linux/ Ubuntu/RHEL/Windows) and Configuring launched instances with respect to specific applications
• Working on SCM tools - Ansible for Deployment on Multiple platforms
