Comixology
• Joined Comixology team in Books org in Jan 2023;
• Project went into ramp down and handled effectively by rotating and retaining engineers in other key projects;
• Groomed one of the engineers from SE II to SE III who played a key role in the OE contribution;
• On-boarded Data Engineering and Systems Engineering work handled by L6 engineers at stakeholder team and successfully ensured that these new work streams are delivered effectively by the support engineers including key projects like Publisher Royalty payments reporting and MariaDB upgrade.
• Promoted the SE to L5 who supported DE and Systems on-boarding.
• Later, In DE space to enable migration from KTLO to Kindle, hired a new DE in Variable space by reviewing proposal with DE leadership. After securing approval from leadership and business, hired and on-boarded DE to the variable HC successfully. Worked along with the DE on a tactical work, building success of this model and enabling myself in handling DE work effectively as a SEM.
• Took 100% ownership of KTLO work in SE space and handled 11 services independently in KTLO/legacy product.
• Took 100% ownership on handling the service deprecation as part of the product migration from KTLO to Amazon Kindle
• Built a strong SE team to handle all the tech mandates like JDK17, CloudAuth, Netscaler Migration, Fluxo-tickety migration; RTN SonarSIS migration.
• In the KTLO model our team handled 800+ tickets; 80 task from Kanban board; 482 SAS risks;135 PE risk
• Implemented multiple mechanisms like weekly stakeholder report of OE metrics, WBR, retro and Sprint planning meetings
• Groomed one of the senior SE from lower performance to leading the KTLO effectively and in-progress with his promotion to L5 currently.
• In Systems Engineering we handled at the least 50 risks per month some of the key risks handled involved project as serverless architecture to remove stasDB3 dependency for data ingestion to redshift and integrated Redshift via Andes using a lambda script; perimeter security group risks; Redshift migration from Public to Private
• The Engineer who successfully owned the Systems Engineering work was provided with a travel opportunity to work with the DEV team on the Zero legacy infrastructure proposal which was a success for our team; Also working with the QSM who is interested in PM role and supporting her to handle the program execution.

BookFinder:
• Took ownership of BookFinder SE team in Feb 2023; lead two SEs in launching the new Responsive PLP.
• Completed key projects like Robot blocking; Universal Analytics to Google Analytics migration; Python upgrade; 6+ new market place launches.

Falkor/Kindle Vella:
• Took ownership of Vella team in Q3 2023; Built the team from handling three two queues Author, Store to multiple queue Store, Author, Data Eng, iOS, Android, Accounting and Discovery.
• Completed key projects like consumption service deprecation, CD-Signer migration; multiple weblabs dial down; ASR recertification.
• Promoted the key engineer who drove the critical projects from SEIII to SysDev I via the Technical Assessment process.

Apub:
• Successfully contributed in key mandates and roadmap projects like Kale, cloudAuth, JDK, Netscaler, AOS collection launches, Managed publisher launches, Double credit month launches, pBook deprecation, SAS auto resolver; QA bugs resolution; Contributing to multiple automations for the QA team as a cross-org initiative.
• Promoted the key engineer from SE II to SE III
• Another key Engineer was provided with travel opportunity to connect with the stakeholders.
• Successfully on-boarded Salesforce project in addition to the current queues’ syzygy and Montage in Q2 2024. Built trust with stakeholders to grow from OE support to development work in Salesforce.
• Recently on-boarded BPub team as well (under APub L7) and onboarding in-progress
• Lead the monthly OE Tech review with the L7 of the org along with all 6 SDMs and established a successful completion of OE metrics highly contributed by the SE team.
IML:
• International Machine learning org was looking for SE hire in common forums
• Built proposal to enable an SDE-SE org model similar to books org and got approval with the SDM who presented the case to Rajeev Rastogi (VP)
• On-boarded a new SE in the space and brought down the risk count from 300 to less than 50 along with the SDEs where SE played a key contribution
• Worked with the TPM to enable multiple mechanisms for the SE to effectively reduce the risk count
• Successfully migrated Beta DB engine from Aurora 12.16 to RDS 14.10 using DMS
• Successfully completed the cloudAuth migration
• SE received the start of the month award within 6 months of onboarding
• Worked on the DE by variable proposal and secured a new DE HC.


Apart from the projects,
