• Perform DFM studies for new component development.

• Responsible for Qualification of PPAP and PSW Approval of all New Product Parts.

• Drive & Monitor supplier onboarding process from identification, qualification, Audit & Assessments.

• Communicate with supplier for Non-conformance of parts and take necessary actions till SOP.

• Coordinating with Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.

• Carrying out the Project and Product execution from Proto to Mass Production/SOP's.

• Supplier Audit, Evaluation and qualifying new vendors and improved supply chain reliability, Delivery and quality, improved poor performing supplier.

• Packing development and implementation of new projects. Supporting to Identify, manage and mitigate procurement risks to enable the organization to meet its obligations and maximize business opportunity.

• Product manufacturing line evaluation.

• Conduct trials at supplier end for new projects, repeat & Localization mold.

• Sourcing Finalization for new project and Localization parts.

• Analyzing proto stage issues and making Action plan to ensure the defect free launch.

• Cycle time challenge/ VAVE ideas proposal.

• Creating Bill of Material (BOM) once received the 2D drawing from customer for new projects.

• Prepare and submit ANPQP (APQP) documents for each phase.

• Gauge design validation and buyoff.

• Conducting trials and concerns closing as per customer requirements

• Responsible for part validation testing.

• Preparation & submit of material data sheet (IMDS) for all new product development parts to customers.

• Joint inspection of New product sample with customer. (Part approval)

• Subsupplier selection for the start of new development at the vendor’s end.

• Approve tools, fixtures & Gauges for new components.

• Manage fitment trials and production trial runs at supplier locations.

• Plastics Injection tool design review with CFT team.

• Follow up with vendors for completion of the new mold.

• Packaging development.

• Prepare monthly supplier performance report & monitoring (Supplier wise, Top worst & best PPM, quality rating)

• Prepare & update the incoming inspection standard based on drawing.

• Prepare & Submit AOI & ISIR documents for new projects, alternate sourcing and ECN change to customer.

• Conducting ES/MS test in revalidation period & New projects.

• Knowledge in environment testing of interior soft trim parts using equipment’s like climatic chamber, flammability tester, Desiccator & physical test conduct by using UTM.

• Calibrating In-house test equipment’s & Instruments yearly once based on calibration plan in NABL accredited laboratory.
