  • Led development of FASTag acquirer payment system from scratch, scaled it from 5 lakh to 15 lakh transactions per day with onboarding of around 250 toll plazas across India with monthly revenue of 800 crores.
  • Building NCMC acquirer payment system and Rupay acquirer payment switch from scratch for handling millions of daily NCMC card transit (metro and bus) transactions using standardized open-loop contactless payment rail.

  • Migrated high traffic platform of inventory backend engine from NodeJS to Java, decreasing overall cpu utilisation to half and there by decreasing effective cost.
  • Current inventory system throughput is 100+ million daily reads and over 6 million writes, with capability to manage all traffic with 8 t2-large EC2 instances, keeping 95 percentile response time of read API around 7ms and write API around 20ms.
  • Developed inventory analytics engine using ElasticSearch and Kafka over maxwell pipeline, to analyse inventory stock data of highly sold products and notify merchants in case of low stock.
  • Led migration of storefront as an independent service, serving traffic of 250k requests per minute.
  • Integrated redis caching with storefront service for serving 98% requests without DB, using redis sentinel for high availability.
