Current Responsibilities:

• Investment Funds – As division in-charge for Investment Funds, I am responsible for the policy formulation, drafting of laws and supervision for Investment Funds (VC, PE, Hedge Funds, ETFs, Mutual Funds, etc).

• Sustainable Finance – Responsible for various activities related to Sustainable Finance across the areas of ESG labelled debt securities, ESG Funds and Sustainable lending by Banks. Also, responsible for undertaking initiatives in the areas of Voluntary Carbon Market and Sovereign Green Bonds.

Asst. General Manager, Mutual Funds (Jan 2019 – Jan 2021)

• Have handled policy matters concerning Mutual Funds on risk management in debt-oriented schemes, segregation of portfolio, trade allocation policy, expense ratios, etc. Have handled enforcement actions involving serious violations by Asset Managers.

Manager, Corporate Restructuring (Jan 2017- Dec 2018)

• Have handled vetting of offer documents, policy development and enforcement of regulations.

Manager & Assistant Manager, Primary Market (June 2011- Dec 2016)

• Have handled policy matters on IPO eligibility, fast track issuances, listing of start-ups, differential voting rights, etc., and vetting of IPO offer documents. Have also handled policy matters related to Corporate Governance for listed entities in India.

• Functional Consultant for Taxation Projects of 3 State Governments and responsible for Strategic Alliances for a new strategic unit
