Description:

Azure Communication Gateway (ACG) is a first party product solution to connect Telecom Operators voice networks to cloud based communications services, enabling those Operators to sell phone connectivity to those services to their end customers. It comprises multiple components and Perimeta-1P being one of them.

• Integrated Azure Security Package (AzSecPack) with Perimeta for 1P service. Owner of resolving issues getting flagged on S360 for AzSecPack for the product.
• Did Zoom Certification for Perimeta-1P, which involved building the live setup and testing live call scenarios.
• Build setup and tested Control Plane implementation for customer input for ACG, including configuration and call flow verification.
• Manually tested MMF custom headers implementation.
• Implemented Emergency Certificate rotation for the certificates in Key Vault, mainly focused to be used by DRIs on call.
• Integrated and automated Vnet Injection for Perimeta for private preview for Telecom Operator.
• Automating cases for Perimeta SBC using inhouse framework.
• Working as an On-Call DRI Engineer to resolve production issues.
• Architecting & Developing a Framework on Azure for Life cycle Management of Azure Communication Gateway (ACG) Resource.
• I was one of the lead of D&I calls across the teams of Perimeta and ACG

Project: Perimeta SBC-3P

• Deploying Perimeta on Azure and OpenStack. Wrote documentation for the same
• Manually tested and automated Detect Emergency registration.

Project: UGW – Manual and Automation testing

Description:

Functionality and performance testing on UGW platforms for various releases is being done. The project is involved in doing manual testing and automating the features being tested. Issues are being reported to JIRA for both software and automation issue. Automate the test cases which are done manually using TCL. Worked on bringing up new platform

Contribution:

• Performance testing for TCP and UDP using tools such as STC, IXChariot, Iperf.
• Doing manual as well as automation testing for throughput.
• Preparing the testplan for test scenarios.
• Building setups, integration of scripts on automation setups.
• Testing tunnel scenario’s and calculate throughput for the same.
• Upcoming platform with new framework + kernel version which will support hypervisor as well. Working and supporting for stabilizing the product.

Description:

• Automated script using TCL for VoIP feature: Basic call scenario’s, Supplementary services.
• Performed manual testing for VoIP feature: Basic call, Supplementary services, Voicemail feature. Performed same testing on DECT as well.
• Preparing the testplan for test scenarios.
• Building setups, integration of scripts on automation setups.
• Dialogic as VoIP call simulator for automation.

Project: Manual, Automation and Regression testing for VOIP

Contribution:

• Manual and regression testing of features. Developed TCL scripts for automated testing of features.
• Bug filling and tracking through DDTS.
• Worked on the tools like SIPp, Callgen, Camelot .
• Handled Unified Performance testing where performance is determined according to the Call Success Rate, CPU utilization etc.
• Involved in solving critical regression script bugs, script integration on diff platforms. Worked on resolving various testbed issues including CUCM configurations, SIPp, and Camelot. Worked in developing test setups for different features.

Project: Manual Testing and Automation on modular Cat6k

Client: Cisco

Platform: Cat6k

Duration: Sep 2013– Oct 2013

Description:

Team is involved in working on Cat6k modular switches doing integration testing on different service modules viz. ASASM, FWSM. Team comprises of developers, testers and automation engineers. Team tests switches with latest IOS versions and check the compatibility for service modules such as ASA, Firewall. Any issue observed is been tracked with a DDTS.

Contribution:

• Perform manual testing. Platform integration testing of ASA and Firewall service modules.
• Tools used are IXIA (Ixexplorer/Ixload) and spirent for traffic generation.
• Build testbeds as per the scenario and perform manual testing.
• Execute several test sceanrios such as Z-switchover, ISSU, sending traffic via ASA/firewall module and do switchover between the SUP’s, configuring failover in ASA and send traffic, Multicast test cases, testing in different modes, ex: routed, transparent, single and multiple mode on ASA.
• Analyze the test result and prepare the test report.
• Planning the test cases and writing the testplans.
• Raise CDETS if any issue is observed.
• Co-ordinate with offshore and onsite team.

Project: SNMP – Manual and Automation testing

Platform: ASR9k, NCS

Duration: Nov 2013 – Dec 2015

Description:

SNMP based integrated testing of the Infra components of ASR9k routers. The project is involved in doing manual testing which includes polling the SNMP values for our product i.e. ASR9k router, ASR9k satellite and NCS5001, get CLI values from router and monitor values. Report it in CDETS if any issue is observed. Automate test cases which are done manually using TCL.

Contribution:

• Automated script using TCL for comparing SNMP and CLI values. Automate script for Entity MIB, Asset-MIB, FRU-MIB, Sensor-MIB.
• Perform manual testing. MIB testing ex:- Entity MIB, IF-MIB, FRU-MIB, Sensor-MIB, System-MIB, Flash-MIB, Image-MIB, Asset-MIB.
• Performance testing ex: soft/hard OIR, switchovers.
• Testplan preparation for test scenarios.
• Handling frontend for Product-Team meetings with customers. Co-ordinate with Program managers for upcoming programs for the project.
• Tools used are SR-Tools, simple tester, X-scale and Smart-man.
