• Preparation of SOPs and training manpower to meet Stretched Targets
• Responsible for manpower planning, job scheduling and continual safety training programs for the operation and maintenance teams
• Member of Process safety management (PSM) implementation committee
• Member of Deming team (Business Excellence) for all the documentation related work from HMS.
  

• Shift Incharge ( Responsible for shift production, Working on defect break elimination along with data analytics team)
• Successfully worked on Optimization of mill speed and coil change time.
• Erected and Commissioned 5 MTPA Hot Strip Mill
• Overseeing installation & commissioning of machines and equipments
• Coordinated with Suppliers and Contractors for on time delivery of equipments
• Ensuring timely completion of project with optimum utilization of resources and maximum output
• End to end project management from planning to on-site activities monitoring and final execution
• Project Progress reporting, evaluation and debottlenecking

I was assigned to Hot Strip Mill #2 Project, Primary responsibilities that are being handled are:

• Procurement of material/equipment related to the project (Floating of inquiry based on the detailed engineering provided by the main technological supplier/consultant and getting the technical quotations from the vendors)
• Project Execution (Erection and commissioning of equipment necessary for manufacturing of steel coils out of steel slabs produced at the steel melt shop, managing the resources to mitigate the risks involved delaying the execution )
• Project Progress Mapping and Monitoring (Continuous mapping of project execution status using the P6 software, analyzing the risk and presenting the data to the higher management for achieving the milestones and timely execution of the project)
