Product Feature : Location Domain for InfoSphere Traceability Server Using MDM

The Location Domain for ITS is required to serve as the master data repository for location details. The Traceability Server will consume data from the Location domain using inquiries. The domain will provide capability for the user to easily add attributes to the Location entity by supporting specs at the Location entity. The domain also enables holding data on Location Sets and Location Hierarchies. It also provides the flexibility to hold multiple aliases for a location and allows querying using an alias.

Description :
This feature requirement needs to make consistence use of EntityNames across all the common features. Currently some transactions accept lower case Entity Names but some fails when XML request contains lower case entity names. The intent of the feature is to make behavior consistent for these type of transactions. Example PERSON, CONTACT names are used by the Hierarchy and Privacy Preference. Hierarchy services may fail if lower case is used, whereas in most cases privacy preference services may be fine.
