Project: Helix

Responsibilities:

• Designs and programs software applications.
• Worked with Kafka and message queues to integrate with microservices, leveraging OpenShift for streamlined and scalable deployment to meet project requirements.
• Created YAML definitions, developed, and deployed multiple APIs in almost half the time expected, resulting in increased client satisfaction and revenue.
• Developed a business processing provider auto-assignment solution for a U.S.-based health care client, utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
• Conducted proof of concepts (POCs) to explore new technologies and approaches.
• Conducted code reviews and provided feedback to colleagues to ensure high-quality standards.
• Guided, trained, and distributed tasks to new resources.

Daily responsibilities: Analyzing challenges faced by other teams, devising practical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to assess feasibility, designing solution contracts (YAML), developing and deploying microservices, and conducting thorough code reviews.

Project: FMR Fund Billing Application.

The Fund Billing application is responsible for creating and sending invoices, containing information about various fees associated with operating the fund business. To do this, several types of fees are calculated for each portfolio, sub-portfolio, share class, etc. These calculations use a variety of techniques to compute fees, such as using fixed rates or tables of stratified rates. Many of the fees are, in turn, rolled up into the portfolio before invoicing.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering business requirements, performing analysis, and developing DOU documents.
• Worked in the FMR client location environment to develop and deploy the product.
• Performed health checks and maintained the application post-production deployment.
• Participated in fixing production related issues quickly.
• Developing web services using Spring Boot with the Apache Camel framework, with ActiveMQ as the client and Spring Data JPA for data retrieval in a CI/CD environment using Jenkins and UDeploy for automated deployment to a Linux server.
• Preparing test cases and writing unit tests for the application using JUnit, as well as automating for peers using the test API (internal tool).
• Identifying and enhancing the code quality using SonarLint.
• Followed the Agile methodology.

Project: Optumera.

Optumera is a retail-based product. It provides the features to help on improve the performance, pricing, sales, and margins for retail clients.

• Analyzed and gathered client-specific requirements.
• Prepared business requirements documents, analyzed, and worked on the change requests and estimations.
• Involved in both development and support-related activities.
• Developed microservices using the Spring Boot framework from scratch.
• Configuration of OAuth 2.0, Angular 4, IP complaints like SAST, DAST issues.
• Developed RESTful web services with Hibernate as the ORM tool. Having hands-on experience in working with the RabbitMQ message broker system and the Memcache distributed caching system.
• I prepared the test case by identifying test scenarios based on the requirements, and tested it using JMeter.
• Involved in fixing the post-production issues.
• Involved in monitoring the services post-production using Kibana, and worked on the ELK Stack for capturing the logs to be shown as per needs in the Kibana tool.
