• Handle software requests from across the organization and provide guidance on licensing options and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive inventory of software licenses, including license entitlements, deployment details, and usage metrics
• Regularly reconcile the license inventory with procurement records, invoices, and license agreements
• Create and manage contracts and license agreements using software asset management tools like Snow and Service-now SAMPro
• Input new license information based on purchase orders, invoices, and Microsoft MLS documents to maintain accurate records
• Monitor software usage to ensure compliance with license terms and prevent over- deployment
• Regularly review license usage reports and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize license allocation and utilization
• Review software license agreements and contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Monitor maintenance and true-up requirements, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to contractual obligations
• Administer licenses on various portals, including VLSC, MSDN, O365 Admin Center, VMware, Adobe Admin Console, Red Hat, Autodesk, Tableau, and others
• Validate license entitlements, track deployments, and manage license allocations through these portals.
• Proactively communicate with users to notify them of upcoming license expirations
• Follow up with end users to facilitate timely license renewals and ensure continuity of software usage
• Assist users in selecting appropriate software based on their requirements and usage needs
• Collaborate with vendors and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of software licenses
• Implement software license re-harvesting processes to reclaim unused or underutilized licenses
• Track software usage data and leverage employee exit data to identify and reclaim licenses for re-allocation
• Educating users about software compliance requirements and the potential consequences of non-compliance
• Highlight the importance of maintaining a good reputation by adhering to software licensing policies and regulations
• Handle software-related tickets and support requests from end-users
• Provide guidance and assistance to desktop engineers on software activation and troubleshooting.

• Work on Microsoft, VMware, Adobe, Autodesk, Tableau, McAfee, TrendMicro and other publishers
• Validate user’s requirements on email & tickets & provide them internally approved alternatives freeware’s, Open-Source software’s to save company cost
• Work on Flexera Tool to Manage software licenses and calculating the software compliance.
• If software needs to be procured, then work with procurement team for license delivery.
• Perform software license optimization to save license cost.
• Work on Various tickets & approve upon software license validation.
• Create Weekly/Monthly dashboard for Software tickets for SAM Performance & Productivity measurement.
• Work on multiple publisher’s ELPs on monthly basis.
• Send email notification to users before 90 days about subscription, support expiration for software renewal.
• Work with users & publishers on various licenses issues.
• Work on weekly operations data to validate software request data and find which licenses is requested by the user most times.
• Validate the open-source software request and accordingly create list of the open- source software’s which can be used after Internal Security approval.
• Work on various publisher’s license consumption data and work on software license removal from user name who are not utilizing assigned license for more than 90 days.

• Working on procurement for license purchases and Software Renewals to deliver software licenses as per the user’s requirement
• Working on software renewal budget for upcoming renewals.
• Working with vendor for quote and license delivery.
• Working on SAP for procurement and PO creation.
• Manage licenses on Snow Tool. adding new licenses as well as creating contracts on Snow for newly introduced publishers.
• Working on operations to validate and approve user’s tickets and if license is not available in current software repository, then initiate the procurement process upon user approval.
• Manage licenses on Various software portals (like Adobe, Autodesk, MSDN, VLSC etc.)
• Guiding users on new software purchase by gathering information from user about required software
• Providing information about alternative software’s which are available as Open-Source, Freeware which is already approved by internal security team to save cost for the company
• Notify users on license expiration & follow up with end users for license renewals.
• Working with vendors & publishers for any software license issues like software activation issue, any software support required to user.

• Sending licenses delivery notifications on PO receipts.
• Following up with vendors on license delivery status.
• Managing licenses keys, Portal login details.
• Managing delivered licenses & sending license expiration notifications on PO receipts.
• Validating user’s licenses procurement requests & providing approval to procurement for license purchase.
• Working with vendors on licenses issues like. E.g. License key issues, Portal login.
• Managing the administration of IT inventory, asset management, IT purchases and technical service contracts over BMC Remedy Tool.
• Creating Weekly/Monthly dashboard for Software tickets for SAM Performance & Productivity measurement.
• Play Role into the transition and transformation of SAM Operations and compliance.
• Co-Ordinating with System Engineers to check if application logs in event viewer, registry clean-up, leftovers & non-compliant software folders are successfully removed.
• Engage with customers proactively on compliance and licensing related areas providing quality responses and improving the project planning requirements.
• Implement and strengthen reclaim and reuse software for Scenarios including User Exits, Software Transfers, etc.
• Assist SAM/PPT management in driving Software Compliance and Licensing awareness sessions.
• Handling End user queries on Software Licensing Purchase Metadata & lifecycle issues.
• Creating Compliance reports (ELPs).
