Description: NAM Q2C is a new Scratch project which is being built on the new Salesforce lightning Platform to remove an age-old Legacy Q2C Schneider internal tool. It is a project which is specific to NAM Quote to Cash “Quote management”. This project is completely built on Force.com Lightning Framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the requirement of the given stories and assign the work to the respective team members. Also, make sure to complete the deliverables on the given 2 weeks sprint timelines.
  • Work with the team to see where they are having any issues on the deliverables and solve their queries and issues (Both technical and operational).
  • Communicate with the onshore and offshore team on the Dependencies and closely work with them on the impediments and make sure to close the stories on the given sprint.
  • Have a daily standup call and give the details of the work in progress and the issues or concerns our team is having on the stories for that sprint.
  • Work on Creating Lightning Applications, Tabs, Global Action, Object Actions, Custom Objects, Fields.
  • Work on Creating Lightning Components Using Force.com Lightning Components , by using Aura Framework for using the Tags and Aura Methods along with Lightning Frontend controllers, Events and Helper Methods to implement a Lightning Fast Responsive and Feel good UI.
  • Work on Other Web technologies like JavaScript, JQuery and AngularJS for a better and immediate response, also when any plugins need to be used.
  • Visit onshore (USA) as and when required to see if we need more clarity on the upcoming new enhancements, work on the prototypes and develop the changes in the following sprints.
  • Work on deploying the developed stories using the Copado version controlling tool to move it to Github, which will make sure to move the changes to QA, UAT and production respectively after having the testing.
  • We work on the DevOps model in this project as we have no support team setup. I work on the support cases for the existing application and new issues raised as part of the new enhancements.

This project is from scratch implementation projects having the objective of setting up a Partner registration UI that is customizable as per the countries/Cluster required information, also have a target of setting up 100K partner registrations. used to implement a custom It has many subsidiary companies like Square D, Pelco, APC, and many others. This project is built using the Salesforce Partner Community and Site.com Pages.

Responsibilities: Being the lead developer in the team, my responsibilities are vast and diverse including planning sprints, estimation, analysis, development, participating in UAT testing and migration.

  • Creating, assigning communities to profiles and permissions and setting up the Communities.
  • Understanding the given functional document and making a technical document for the same and building an efficient solution using SFDC stack consisting of the APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, SOSL, Batch Apex, and declarative features like validation rules, workflows, Flows, Process Builders, roles, and profiles, business processes Reports etc.
  • Working on SOAP and REST API integrations for integrating the partner's information with Salesforce and the SDH (Schneider data hub), which is Schneider's in-house database.
  • Guiding the peers to complete their task before the deadlines.
  • Working on building POCs to show to the business the advantages of enhancing the existing functionality and making the solution more effective to the business.

Description: Partner Opportunity Management is an existing application which was built on Salesforce Portals, Where the Partners can Request for an OR(Opportunity Registration) in salesforce, Manage their existing Opportunities, Transfer their opportunity to another Partner or Schneider. The Partner Opportunity Management is moved to Communities from the Portals and manages the opportunities using communities.

Responsibilities: Being the lead developer in the team, my responsibilities are vast and diverse including planning sprints, estimation, analysis, development, participating in UAT testing and migration.

  • Creating, assigning communities to profiles and permissions and setting up the Communities.
  • Working on migrating the salesforce Portal to the community by setting up the community.
  • Worked on some of the web concepts like URL rewriting which is used to show the user-friendly URLs in the browser and used Platform Cache Partitions in the Org to get the information to the browser as fast as possible.
  • Worked on Implementing a user-friendly and Responsive UI using Web technologies like JavaScript, JQuery and CSS. Which will make the salesforce communities look like a different site and still have the same tabs and work the same way the partners use in portals.
  • Used Metadata API to build Metadata Services which will give us the user access information on Tabs, Objects, Field permissions, Object permissions, and the related object filters. Which we use to make the Community page dynamic to show only that information.
  • Worked on Batch, Schedule and Queueable jobs which will perform Platform Cache Partitions up-to-date, Update the custom objects which will store the metadata information.

Project Title: Partner Reward Management

Duration: January 2015 to June 2015

Environment: Salesforce application.

Description: Partner Reward Management is a custom salesforce application that is built on the force.com platform. It is used to manage the partner reward like granting extra access, removing some access, giving some extra benefits to partners based on their type of business, the volume of business with Schneider-Electric or the country/ cluster they belong to.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on designing a Visualforce interface which will be helpful for the Reward Management admins to Create, Modify, Delete any cluster/ country. Global programs.
  • Build a rules engine interface using Visualforce pages, Controllers, Visualforce components which will help the Reward Management admins to customize any rule as per the country/cluster, Global program.
  • Worked on building backend controllers, classes and triggers which will be used to assign a reward to a partner based on the country/ cluster, Global program he is participating in based on the set of rules.
  • As part of this project worked on Created fields, Objects, page layouts, Workflows, Flows, Process builders, Triggers, Onclick javascript buttons etc...

Project Title: Marketing Automation

Duration: June 2014 to January 2015

Environment: Salesforce Sales Cloud application.

Responsibilities: Marketing Automation is another module which I alone was handling in Schneider-Electric. This project contains two different processes i.e. the one which is an old system of marketing and the present marketing automation using Marketo. The goal is to support the existing system and move all the marketing processes into the new system. My responsibilities are listed below.

  • Installing the Marketo product in the sandboxes, production and creating the required fields in the platforms and making the objects fields to be available to synchronization with Marketo.
  • Understanding the given functional document and making a technical document for the same and building an efficient solution using SFDC stack consisting of the APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, SOSL, Batch Apex, and declarative features like validation rules, workflows, approval process, roles, and profiles, business processes Reports etc.
  • Understanding the new release related BR and making changes according, working with the business to make sure the changes are as per the requirements.
  • Working with the business through calls about the changes and making the sign Offs in UATs.
  • Deploying the components to production.

  • Creating Objects, Fields (Formula fields), Page layouts, Record types, Validation Rules, Workflow Rules, Approval process, Assignment Rules, Escalation Rules, sharing Rules, Permission Sets, Profiles, Roles, OWDs, Custom Buttons, Links using JavaScript and Salesforce Standard functionality.
  • Working on DataLoader for Mass import and export of data to/from Salesforce.
  • Changing the existing Application's UI, Functionality as per the change in the business requirement.
