ATTRIBUTE STANDARDISATION FOR MELTABLE PRODUCTS TO IMPLEMENT BLOCKERS USING (FOS) RULE (02/2018 - 01/2019)
The summer ship period in US begins on May 15 with an end date of September 01. Products that retail has determined are meltable
will have the product “temperature_rating” attribute updated to
“summer_meltable” in selection central. This will filter out any
inventory from availability for outbound shipments. Impact: Customers will not receive melted product and thus improved
reduction of damaging out the inventory by saving $30 million
(2017-2018 data).


PREP CERTIFICATION PROGRAM (SOP) – US/CA MARKETPLACE (02/2017 - 08/2019)
The Prep Certification program was onboarded from the FC sample
center team in February 2017. Dedicated Amazon consumables
team prep auditors have undergone prep certification training from
the Inbound Supply Chain (IBSC) team and will officially be auditing
Andon Cord tickets for Prep approval. Through this, the external
team's dependency is 100% reduced, thus by routing tickets to
internal Prep Auditors to investigate and add external prep for the
products. Impact: TAT is reduced from 4.2 days to 0.7 days.
