Contract Package BC03 of Line-6 Mumbai Metro , Part design and construction of viaduct and 5 elevated stations viz Maha Kali Caves, SEEPZ Village, Saki ViharRoad, Rambaug&Powai Lake (excluding Architectural finishing and Pre-engineered steel roof structure of Stations) from chainage 5257.40m to 9586.50 m of Swami Samarth Nagar – JVLR – SEEPZ - KanjurMarg– Vikhroli (EEH) Metro Corridor (Line – 6) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project

  • Project Cost: INR 860 Cr (~120million USD)

  • Design and Construction of parking space for Delhi International Airport Pvt Limited (DIAL) and development of taxi pick up zone to facilitate subway construction to arrival terminal of Indira Gandhi Domestic Airport (IGDA)
  • Cut and Cover Construction for Main station Box and Connecting subway:
  • Excavation in Hard Rock Strata: Excavation through cut and cover technique for depth of 20 m approx by using excavator and rock breaker and at hard strata through use of explosive
  • Excavation support with installation of Soldier pile /Soil&Rock anchors/Shotcrete/Rock Bolting
  • Preparation of BBS and checklist for different activities
  • Method statement preparation for activity related with permanent and temporary structure
  • Pour Plan preparation, Non compliance report, Quality assessment report, Safety report preparation and compliance as per standards
  • Completion of main structure: Construction of Civil structures at IGDA underground metro station which includes but not limited to the following activities:
  • All horizontal slabs (Base, Concourse and Roof slab) at different level
  • Walls (Undercroft exhaust walls, Platform walls, Main walls etc)
  • Columns, OTE duct Lift, Stairs and Escalators
  • Block work, Screed and Floor hardening work
  • Preparation of various rooms for system contractor
  • Water proofing work for IGDA underground Metro station
  • Launching and Retrieval shaft by D- wall method for tunneling by TBM

  • Interface Management: Exclusively participating in reviewing of the working method and design issues at various stages and level
  • The above review work is exhaustive and involves close coordination with the DDCs and includes following major activities:
  • Participating in Interface coordination meeting with system contractor to resolve various interface related issues
  • Review of combined services drawing (CSD)
  • Finalization and approval of Finishing works material and methodology
  • ITP preparation and Confirmation to standards
  • Developing ITP for all material used at site with respect to standards
  • Generation and closing of Non conformance report
  • Billing work and preparation of extra item/ variation, Claim settlement
  • Prepared detailed Work Programs, Man power Deployment programs, Material Planning, Resource Deployment program and in the process have gained hands on exposure of software like MS Project
  • Actively involved in getting ISO certification and LEED certification for IGD station
  • Providing Training to New recruits and interns of DMRC
