Individual responsibilities:

• Set up a new observability dashboard in AppDynamics, Kibana, and Grafana. Set guidelines for monitoring standards for ITRS.
• Handling L3 issues for the ITRS Geneos monitoring tool deployed on over 200 production servers, hosting more than 2,000 applications running on 50,000 machines across the globe.
• Set up ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, like ServiceNow, ELK, ITRS Config XMLs, and store it to generate statistics for reporting purposes.
• Work on automation JIRAs for TOIL reduction and stability improvements. Extensive use of Python in automating day-to-day work activities for various application teams.
• Plan and implement application releases for production, bug fixes, upgrades, enhancements, and stability improvement action plans.
• Providing TOIL reduction solutions to application teams by automating their manual tasks, including FAST-based auto checkouts, and designing a DB-based batch monitoring and alerting system.
• Worked on data science projects, such as data extraction and reporting alert statistics for incident reduction across departments.
• Set up and manage the ITRS gateway's Git repository, and create scripts to scrape thousands of XMLs, ORB web pages, and API endpoints to generate a dashboard view for gateway owners as another data science project.
• Update and manage Ansible playbooks used for automated upgrades and deployments.

About the Project: NatWest Group's Markets and Risk & Finance Solutions platform caters to ledger reporting, with its main delivery module as a single general ledger (SGL). This project covers post-trade processing and bank-wide ledger maintenance, which form the backbone of any banking domain.

• Managing two sub-teams of four and two members. A 4-member team to manage and maintain production stability, and a 2-member team for overseeing automation deliveries.
• Leading the incident and problem management at the platform level.
• Around-the-clock batch monitoring and maintenance.
• Monitoring system performance to ensure reliability and availability.
• Periodic reporting on different reporting platforms, based on the Oracle suite, OBIEE.
• Working with a trade reconciliations team for different financial instruments in resolving the breaks on different charts of accounts.

• Reduction in incident count by optimizing systems and making them self-sustaining, self-healing, and error-free.

About the Project: Morgan Stanley's International Wealth Management is an L2/L3 support project that includes managing PWM applications, ranging from trading applications, portfolio management, portfolio reporting, risk management, and supporting the PWM IT infrastructure. Trading support (FX, equities, options, mutual funds, OTCs, ETFs, and bonds) being the core, there were 100+ applications supported within this project.

Individual Responsibilities:

• Working directly with traders, brokers (sales), BAM, RISK, compliance, FAs, operations, and security teams, providing IT expertise for trading activities and managing trading platforms.
• Timely delivery of client positions and updated client portfolios, SOD/EOD checks, RAG reporting for 100+ applications, including trading platforms.
• Client suitability and eligibility error handling, troubleshooting client portfolio data issues and errors, critical account opening and client data management issues, and keeping updated portfolios on the client portal.
• Dealing with direct business users' queries and providing IT solutions on the spot.
• Provide ad-hoc business reports on the go.

• Identifying bugs, proposing application enhancements to project teams, and suggesting code fixes.
