Implemented partitioning strategies for optimal data distribution, enhancing efficiency, scalability, and reducing latency in transaction processing. The streamlined approach not only optimized throughput but also bolstered system responsiveness and robustness.

-Utilized Apache Spark for daily processing of up to 100 gigabytes, focusing on essential transformations, aggregations, and crafting meaningful datasets from raw transactions. Implemented incremental data processing with Apache Hudi, optimizing the extraction of valuable patterns and insights, highlighting the practical application of Spark in handling large-scale datasets.

-Implementing the above resulted in a remarkable 60% reduction in costs (up to $10,000/month). Strategically optimized data processing and storage, demonstrating a tangible impact on the project's economic efficiency.

-Delivered merchant analytics for Paytm by writing REST APIs to serve more than 3.5 million merchants using Springboot and Elasticsearch.

-Enhanced existing user preference system to handle multiple preferences from single preference system to support transactions up to 5000 queries per second for more than 3.5 million merchants.

• Enhanced core product by adding features and solving tech backlogs which saved AWS costs up to 1000$ / month.
